The place was so unique and wonderful. Love the way it was set up so comfy and cozy! There’s perfect places for parking. Little details throughout every part of the home made it so exciting! 4 generations rang in the new year and celebrated the goodness of God in this awesome home!!!

This house is perfect for a a family stay in Edwardsville! The kids loved their bedroom with their little beds and "hidden door". They also loved all the board games to check out. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed to be able to cook and the beds were so comfy! Would definitely stay here again.

Great location downtown Edwardsville

We were in town to visit family, great location walkable to downtown. House is functional with nice extra touches like stocked coffee and essentials. Huge parking area which was nice when typically you have street parking.

Perfect for our family wedding weekend

The Seedling was simply perfect for our family to attend a wedding. It was beautifully decorated, well stocked and perfectly located. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The house had everything we needed, the beds were super comfortable, we enjoyed all the board games, and our girls LOVED the upstairs bedroom! We would definitely stay here again.

Adorable Little Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at this adorable property. Very well furnished everything you need and we even had a special treat of delicious cinnamon rolls left for us on the kitchen counter. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Family wedding weekend

The location of the house was perfect for our stay. It's a cute house that's nicely decorated and very clean. I had great communication with the host, and they went out of their way to ensure our safety during a really stormy and potentially dangerous night. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Wedding Weekend

We had an amazing time! The house was wonderful and we couldn’t have been happier. Location was great! We were able to so wedding prep on Friday and have a nice place to hang out and relax between events. Flawless transaction!!

Great Place to stay in Edwardsville

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seedling. It is impeccably clean and in a great location. It is within walking distance of downtown and very close to the major shopping and entertainment of Edwardsville. The communications from the property manager are awesome. We loved the decorations and the peacefulness of the area.

Already looking forward to our next stay!

We love the location of this property. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with walking distance to dining and entertainment. The house is fun to check out. You can see the history of how it’s been updated yet, flooring and other details have been untouched. We spent more time at the home in the evenings -vs- going to the nearby bars. We enjoyed the setting that much. We will be back.

Best guest house we have ever stayed in!

This place is absolutely incredible, it is SO cute. It was so clean and tidy. My husband and I and 4 other friends stayed here since we all came from out of town for a wedding and it was such a great stay. The communication was top tier and the hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was good for us.

Edwardsville GEM!

The Seedling, was such a an incredible find for our family’s weekend stay! The location, the home, the decor, all *chef’s kiss*! It’s walkable to downtown Edwardsville, less than 10 minutes from SIUE’s campus, and great access to nearby suburbs. Definitely recommend this home AND checking out Sacred Grounds for a great cup of Joe/breakfast and Ed’s Delicatessen for a delicious lunch option.

Staycation and Visit with Frieds!

We had guests visiting from Michigan and used The Seedling property as our base of operations. We explored Edwardsville and the surrounding area, much of which was walkable. We loved our time at this property! It was very cute and had plenty of space for two couples and one child.

Great place in a great town

The Seedling Guest House is in an excellent spot for those looking to explore Edwardsville or even St Louis. If you plan to stay in Edwardsville you can easily walk or ride a bike anywhere within Edwardsville or (if biking) Glen Carbon. Location really couldn’t be much better!The house is decorated thoughtfully and elegantly, it is clean and welcoming with an excellent design for many people to comfortably stay.We will absolutely be staying here every time we visit going forward.

Beautiful Home in Great Location

Everything about my stay was perfect. The home was very well decorated and welcoming. The hosts were great at clearly sharing details about the home before my stay. Upon my arrival, I found that the host had prepared excelent information about the home and surrounding community. The neighborhood is excellent, with a short walk to the downtown area, where you can find many great places to eat and shop. Would definitely recommend this property and will likely plan to stay here again, next time I am in the area.

Nice place, very comfortable, all the little things done right. Pretty good communications, the house sits on a busy road, but turned in the fan upstairs and slept well. Older neighborhood but seems safe, parked outside never felt unsafe. We stayed here while displaced from home repairs after fire. Really liked the place, my commute to work in Granite City was easy. Anyone that puts a fan by the bed wins in my book. : ) Would recommend to anyone staying in Edwardsville area. Enjoyed the stay.

Lifelong friends do Rte 66 at 66.

The four of us would absolutely recommend the Seedling Guest House. It perfectly met our wants and needs. Location was within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants (We recommend Taqueria Z for Mexican food and margaritas). The home was beautifully appointed. The towels and bedroom linens were plush and comfortable. The two main bedrooms were spacious. Little touches like the board game wall, two coffeemakers-one upstairs and one down, the large Brita pitcher of cold water, and chocolates at the bedsides were appreciated. Host was quick to respond to any question. Thank you, Amy. This was the last leg of our Illinois Rte 66 journey and the Seedling Guest House helped us make this trip memorable!
