It was as advertised. Small 1 bedroom with a tiny bathroom. It is in an alley and the neighbors were friendly. Within easy walking distance to downtown. I didn't think the bed was that comfortable and the bedroom over headlight had one of the bulbs that kept flickering. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable and roomy, the cottage easily met our needs. Great location—walkable to shops and restaurants. Only hitch was we didn’t know we had to reach the cottage from the alley behind main house—happily, a neighbor pointed us in the right direction.

Finding the property based on the map took a few extra minutes as it was off an alley and not the street in the address. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. The place was clean and the check and out processes were easy. We highly recommend the pizza right across the street at Millstone Pizza and Brewery- it was the best food we had the whole trip!

Description of property was accurate. Check in process was easy. Very close to downtown. Was fairly cold in Cody during our stay and we just wish there was heat in the bathroom but otherwise our stay was enjoyable. We did have an issue with the screen door on the front of the house locking us out but we were able to get it figured out.

I do not like to give negative reviews, but also want to be honest. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the dirty baseboards. There were dead bugs and dust around the perimeter of the rooms. The tub mat was yellowed and stunk of mildew. The smell of urine was evident in the bathroom. And, toilet was not cleaned well and neither was the floor around the toilet. The blanket for the bed left fuzz on anything that touched it. Also, the kitchen sponge was disgusting and smelled. I threw it out and bought a new one. The patio table had not been cleaned. On the plus side, the bath towels were nice and plentiful. The location was convenient for walking into town. I wish the host well and hope they take heed of my review.

Really nice place

Let me start with saying we loved the place, very close to downtown, an hour drive from Yellowstone and was quiet. It was well supplied for someone that would be cooking, coffee was great, parking was great, plenty of hot water, pressure was great and overall the place was very clean. The things we didn't care for, the pull out was dirty and needed swept, I used it every night, the foam topper on the bed was horrible, we took it off after the first night, the soap could have been a better quality And no tissues. But overall I would definitely use it again.

Clean, cool, quiet. The little step at the entry was tricky--I never got used to it. Excellent location for walking to downtown stores and attractions. Didn't use the grill or the deck, but nice that it is there. Bathroom small but workable. Would be awfully close quarters for a parent with a young child who needed assistance. Couch and chair not very comfortable. Bed is great. I think the price is okay.

Sharing with another couple (NOT Happy)

When we arrived to the cottage on the day we were supposed to arrive we found it was occupied with another couple who we found out later was let in by the cleaning lady and was not even registered to be there. But after contacting the owner, we were offered another unit that was only available for that night making us change our plans for the next day to move our things into the unit we originally rented. We found our unit to be mostly clean ( don’t look under the rugs) and the grill outside was dirty but otherwise it was appropriate for the duration of our stay. It was well situated in the town to be able to walk around and enjoy shopping. Both the property owner and cleaning lady took responsibility for the mishap when we first arrived.
