Our Host Was wonderful! Responsive, thoughtful, professional. The house is amazing... Walk in and be wowwed!! Roomy yet cozy with enough beds for a crowd- 8 of us for me son's Navy graduation ---Fun amenities, loft for hanging, stunning back patio with view of the river, fire pit, crazy awesome outdoor kitchen with gas grill AND "green egg" charcoal grill. Really just the perfect place short drive to navy base, entertainment, fun

Fantastic Stay!

My family of 5 stayed here for my son’s graduation from Navy basic training at Great Lakes. The location of this house is absolutely perfect and central to pretty much anything you need or anywhere you would like to go. Coco was amazing to work with the entire time! She is very responsive on text message for any of our questions. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area and outdoor family time with a fire pit and just relaxing. My son appreciated that the most. Would highly recommend us stay here and we do plan to return for future visits with our son while he is there in A school.

This property was the perfect place to spend time with family as our grandson graduated from Great Lakes Navy Recruit Training Center. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The ping pong table and exercise equipment were added bonuses. We had great weather so coffee on the patio was a great way to start the new day. One suggestion: casserole dishes and additional serving pieces would make cooking easier for a group.

This house was a perfect little getaway for our family to visit with our newly graduated Sailor! It was accommodating for all ages! I will say however, if you’re planning to cook a big meal (which is what my sailor wanted), the is not much by way of cookware/bakeware available. The host was more than great! She was very personable and helpful!Overall, we loved this house and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Overall, the house was in clean condition (minus the centipedes and bugs found in the corner of the rooms and in the shower). My main disappointment is the loft advertised as an extra bedroom. In the pictures, It shows a bed with a bedframe that looks relatively decent for a few nights stay. When we arrived, all It was was a paper thin mattress on a wooden board directly on the floor. As mentioned, the dead bugs in the corner of the walls on the floor made It tough to want to sleep there. My brother had to sleep at my brothers house due to these conditions. On top of that, the pillows on the beds were mostly decorative pillows, which didn’t make for a great nights sleep. We had to provide our own paper towels, garbage bags, dish washer detergent, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, and more. Just the main things that I’ve otherwise had provided at previous stays. The freezer was also not working and melting everything we bought, even after fidgeting with the temperature. Overall since It was only a few nights, we made It work, but It definitely wasn’t ideal. The location was great for what we needed, the main living room area was great for accommodating a bigger group. These small other issues just started to add up which is why I can Not give this 5 stars. I think these small little updates would go a long way to make the stay more comfortable for future guests. I also Tried to reach out to the host via messaging several times, which also went unanswered. 2/5 stars

Clean, spacious house to stay for the week during our son's graduation from RTC. It was close & easy to get to base & we felt safe in Libertyville. Everything you need is nearby & only a 5-10 minute drive. The beds & bathrooms were clean & comfortable. The living room furniture could use an update or to be a bit bigger to fit a family, but not a big deal. We enjoyed relaxing with our Sailor & had plenty of room to sprawl out. Communication was great & everything was very easy. Thank you!!

Perfect retreat space

Excellent location for a retreat or family gathering. 12/10! We loved the open space and many thoughtful details, such as the large whiteboard and fresh dry erase markers. The wifi and tech worked well. The A/C was amazingly cool, and we were there during a major heat wave. The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful, both day and night. The view of the river was lovely, and there were hardly any bugs, even outside at night with the pretty lights on. Beds were comfy. Communications with the host before check in and during our stay were super helpful; they were quick to reply to questions and considerate. Many more pluses than pictured or listed. Truly a unique, memorable stay.

Libertyville

The property was situated in a beautiful setting and close to amenities and the base. The house is wonderfully unique and spacious. The owner was very helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything needs repair

After months of planning I was informes 2 days before arrival the AC was not working. I was commited as i was installing a large project with a crew of 7. I said yes to my stay for 7 days. They did offer a refund but no alternative home was available to replace this rental. Every single towel holder in the home was missing. Some lights didn't work. The shower handles were missing in 2 of the showers making it very hard to turn the water on. No bed pillows in all but one of the rooms. Throw pillows are not bed pillows [ nasty]. There are no operating smoke detectors. I would not cook in this kitchen. Most of the pans are discusting. The freezer does not work and dont forget the alarm that tell you so, beeping until someone get up to reset. The key box is 50 years old and needs replacing. A large rock holds the storm door upon arrival. Trash was overflowing upon arrival.One TV for this whole property. No soap or shampoo in the bathrooms. towels are stocked in th laundry room if you are looking for them. No rEst because of temeratures. This property needs regular maintainence.Trouble getting truth from host. Broken promesses.This is an Evolve property not VRBO. NEVER AGAIN. I have rented at least 10 times from VRBO and have never encountered these kind of issues.

Loved the Treehouse!

The house and the location were perfect! Coco was very responsive, and the home was very spacious and comfortable. The only reason I did not give it a 5-star rating is because of the cleanliness upon arrival. However, Coco immediately tried to rectify the issue and remained in contact with me even after our trip. Although my son graduated bootcamp, we plan on returning to the Great Lakes area and staying here again.

Navy Graduation.

The house was so cozy and Fun. Perfect space for our family gathering and less then 15 minutes form the Navy base. Our guest host Coco was so great and personable.

Perfect spot for Navy boot camp graduation!

This property was perfect for several family members to stay & be comfortable, especially with having their own bathroom. It was very clean & spacious. It is a unique & awesome property. I was in touch with the host. She was delightful & quick to reply. The neighborhood is very nice. The location was perfect to get to the base & close to the cute town of Libertyville. I would definitely stay here again!

Graduation Stay

Great place! Plenty of room. It was convenient and a nice community. It was cold while we were there and were not able to use outdoor kitchen.Our son was graduating from Navy Bootcamp and it was a very short drive to graduation. Plenty of restaurants close by.

Teenage Dream house

We rented this house to stay for my daughter’s graduation from Navy Boot Camp. It was an easy drive in and ample room for everyone. The host was awesome and attentive to our needs. Honestly, we didn’t really have any needs, but we used party poppers in the house and wanted to be able to clean them up, but we couldn’t find the broom. Being from California, I was super nervous about being cold, but as soon as we walked in the house, it was super warm and felt so cozy. The heated floors are something that dreams are made of. My daughter loves line dancing so we had a little dance party and never had to worry about space. The upstairs area was fun for everyone, But also provided a nice little hangout area for when they wanted some time away from the whole group. I’d absolutely stay here again. My daughters exact words were “This house is literally a teenagers dream house, I love it here so much”
