This amazing property is huge and ready to host your large family get together but also cozy for a couples get away. Enjoy the stunning lake views from the back deck or from high above the water on the master bedroom deck. Enormous back yard, deck and paver patio to barbecue, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, to play bags, relax and enjoy the sun. Private lake has public beach and playground 1/2 block away. Kayaks, Paddle board and fishing gear available for Lake enjoyment! Inside the home are TV's with streaming devices with thousands of tv stations available, board games or just relax around the super comfy couch. Close to Six Flags Great America, Gurnee Outlet Mall and the Great Lakes Naval Station. Additional 5 bedroom home (same owner) on the lake available 1 block away for family events

This home was nice and very spacious. 3 rooms had King Beds and the other had a full bed with 2 bunk beds, perfect for a family of 6 or more. Kitchen had pretty much all pots, pan, and utensils you could think of. I loved, loved the massage chair, by far the best one I’ve ever sat in. The Lake View was beautiful and serene. I’ll definitely be booking again this summer.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We were welcomed with fresh cookies and snacks, plenty of space for a large group to be together and the home had everything we needed to cook and clean up. Beautiful view and we loved having the park/beach so close!A couple of things that certainly weren't deal breakers but worth noting: The king beds were actually two twin mattresses pushed together and the carpets could use a cleaning.

Wonderful location, amazing home!

Well worth renting this home. We stayed here for a Great Lakes graduation and long weekend with our new sailor. Beautiful home, lots of nice touches. Windows and porches overlooking lake. Balcony off primary bedroom. Plenty of space. Great TV streaming access for relaxing evenings. Well apportioned kitchen. Thanks to the owners for a smooth process and great stay!

Beautiful Property

The home is fabulous. The view in the evening as the sun sets over the lake is one that we will remember for many years to come. My wife and I stayed on the first floor in a comfortable king size bed. My son and his wife took the master bedroom on the second floor. The enjoyed the sleep number bed. The grand daughters sleep on the bunk beds or the full-size bed. This left a free room that we did not need. The kitchen had all of the things you could hope for. They even had a smores kit for us to use. I would recommend this place for anyone staying in the area.

Perfect spot for a family vacation

This rental was excellent for our family vacation. We enjoyed beautiful views of the lake and sunset, meals on back deck and time spent on the lake. The owners is easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcomed. We would love to stay here again!

National Midwest regional soccer tournament SVA girls u13

We booked with a few families from the soccer team as we didn’t want to spend our off the field time in a lobby or hotel room. Hospitality did not miss on this one. We were greeted with friendly notes and gift baskets from the host. A bottle of wine, souvenir coffee mug, snack and candy baskets and shower bath bombs! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We lived it so much that we didn’t go out to dinner at all and every meal was enjoyed in. The kids loved the beach close by and fishing off the dock. If we ever had to come back to the area “maybe again next year” we will book here 100%.

The hospitality was like no other at this VRBO. They left a smote making kit, fresh baked cookies, coffee, any and all that you would need or want for your home. Even a bottle of wine to toast for cheers! They were quick to respond and kind with their responses. If we go back in the area we will stay at Amber Rose again for sure!

Amazing Family Getaway!

My family came to Round Lake to Celebrate our Sailor’s Boot Camp Graduation. We had an amazing time fishing, boating, kayaking, bbqing and even a rainy day inside. There was so much to do without having to go anywhere, which is exactly what our Sailor wanted to do. He even invited his new buddy and his family over for a bbq and they were both able to just relax! If ever we decided to come back to visit the area, we would definitely stay here again!

Well appointed with fabulous views!

We loved every moment of our stay! Too many details to share, foot spa? towel warmers? shower bombs? Phone chargers at both sides of the bed? C’mon! This place cares about their guests! With four patios there was ample places to enjoy the beautiful views and the smell of the lilacs! Although we had places to go and people to see, we couldn’t wait to get back to this property and enjoy the company and this place we called home for not nearly enough time!

Highly Recommend!

Our stay was a delightful mini-vacation close to home. The amenities and hospitality were superb, and the lake added an extra touch of serenity. The space was perfect for our group, making us feel right at home. Air mattresses and extra bedding were available which made it perfect for our families with little kids. They had everything I needed making it super easy to host our large family. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

Family Time

My twin brother and nephews and son joined us for a family Thanksgiving The home had a pretty lake view. Had 4 bedrooms with 3 full baths. So convenient. Very clean and great kitchen. Ordered in food but all cooking needs provided. Would recommend to anyone needing space and kitchen needs. Host most cordial.

Would stay here again!

We had a great time. Rooms were set up well for our group. We loved the two deck patio area, gorgeous view of the lake. It was a really quiet place and easy to get around town. Hosts were gracious and generous, welcomed us with fresh baked cookies. House was fully equipped with everything we needed. He was quick to respond when we messaged him. We rented the pontoon boat as well and even though we had crummy weather, we still enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommend this property as well as the host. Thank you!

Excellent size house with a spectacular view

The property was nice with excellent space, room for all guests, open kitchen/living area, and deck/pier with a great view. We enjoyed our time there and was a great location for a multi-family vacation and fishing spot. There were a few hiccups such as the life vests for paddling boarding were at a different location that we had to go ourselves and pickup, the lawn was a bit lawn making bean bags a little less enjoyable, and there was construction starting at 7AM at the next door house but that last one is not something the owner can control. Overall, it was a memorable vacation

Beautiful house in a great location!

We had a great time at this house! It has great views from the window of a beautiful lake. My kids had a great time at the beach and made good use of the kayaks. The sofas are extremely comfortable! Highly recommended!

Perfect lake getaway

This home was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed the fire pit, great space for outdoor dinning, fishing on the pier and beautiful lake views and sunsets. The house was spacious and clean with a well stocked kitchen. We highly recommend this rental and hope to vacation here again.

Great property

The house was absolutely beautiful. The snacks were a nice surprise. Our kids loves walking down to the beach down the street. They also loved going the the lake in the paddle boat. The property manager responded to all of my messages very quickly and was very helpful . Loved sitting by the fire table and lake every morning/ evening. Was big enough for our big group and I would definitely love to come back someday as well as recommend it to anyone for somewhere nice and peaceful to stay. It was also very close to Six flags Great America, as well as Gurnee Mills which was an added bonus for the children/teenagers.

Family Lake Vacation

The house was better than pictures show. They provided so many extras and everything was fully stocked. It was nice to have the bigger table in the dinning room for family games at night. Beautiful views and a nice boat dock. (wish it had a ladder to get in and out of the water) Everyone enjoyed their stay. Thanks!
