Girls Getaway

Had a girls’ weekend here and loved every minute! The view was beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed, the couches were super comfy, and the beds were great. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect!

I had an amazing stay, the house was spotless. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. The location was fantastic with a beautiful neighborhood and friendly neighbors. The home looks just like the pictures. It has everything you need in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Loved the fire pit! Misty was always available to answer my questions. The only problem we had, was the downstairs was a little warm. Misty said she just gotten a new thermostat and was going to have someone check it out. Loved the neighborhood too. The lake was right out our back door and the pool and basketball & tennis courts were right across the street from the house! Perfect for weekend get away with friends and family!

We have stayed here 3 times. This time there were wet towels in the washer that we didn't discover for two days. They smelled pretty bad and I had to wash them over. There was also a cookie sheet in the oven that I found two days in that was caked in grease and old meat. It smelled worse. Other than that the house was clean. It's in a great area and very comfortable.

Short two night stay, local property manager very responsive if needed. Didn't use pool, etc. Easy access to golf courses.

Spring break golfing

This was an incredible golf trip!!! This house was comfortable and everything worked properly. All areas were very clean Misty was an OUTSTANDING contact/manager!!! When questions arose (there weren’t many), she was prompt in getting back to us, always had an answer.and had a great personality :)

Great property!

Check in was streamlined. The house is beautiful with 2 big decks. There is a small playground and tennis courts right across the street. The property manager reached out to us so we had her contact info if needed. The only issue was there is no drip coffee machine,only a keurig with only tea pods, so we had to run into town to get some pods. Would definitely stay again!!

Our family (6 adults, one child) stayed here for a long weekend and loved the house. The home is spacious and comfortable, with quality furniture and mattresses. There's ample covered patio space with a view of the water at the end of the cove. The neighborhood is wooded and beautiful, and not overcrowded like some others we've stayed in on Grand Lake. A HUGE advantage for us was the 30 ft boat slip that came with the rental, which was easy to access and even had a lift that worked well for our boat. There's plenty of parking in the driveway for 4 large cars, and the house is just across the street from the pool/playground/tennis court. The home was clean and comfortable when we arrived. Communication with the host was prompt, friendly, and very accommodating. We found the kitchen and bathrooms to be well appointed, and the lower back deck was convenient for storing bikes and a kayak out of the way. Close to Shangri-La and the Battlefield par-3 course for our golfers. There's plenty of general stores/gas stations as you enter Monkey Island, and a great specialty butcher/prepared foods store on 125 called the Market. We would definitely book this spot again!

A Great Place to Stay on Monkey Island

It was a great place to stay and very relaxing. It was very roomy and had everything we needed. It's in a nice gated community with not much traffic. We had a great time with extended family and made some good memories at the lake. Our rep lady who took care of us was very responsive and helpful. I felt like she went the extra mile for us to make sure that we had a good stay. The only thing that didn't get taken care of while we were there was the jacuzzi tub, but we figured out how to get them on since the button was broke. The guys just never showed up to fix it. We just had to plug and unplug underneath the tub. Other than that issue, it was a nice stay.

Out of state guest weekend

The house is great. Very roomy and comfy. The kitchen could use organization and a full set of pots and pans and a couple cookie/baking sheets. We also had some issues with it getting too warm overnight. Everyone was waking up Sweating. The listing says it’s a certain address number but it’s actually an A to that number. I tried to get into the wrong property. The use of the boat slip turned out to be okay but it was a hassle getting there. We love this area and the proximity to Shangri La. All things considered it’s a great rental. Close to pool and kids area.

Unprepared

Deck needed to be swept off. Pollen on everything. No propane so no way to do a cookout. Upstairs master bedroom tv unworkable. Overhead fan did not work. Small sweeper (Bissel) was broke. No trash cans downstairs and sewer smell. No can opener. Upstairs bar refrigerator did not work.
