Fabulous location near beautiful Lynn Canyon park. Very clean and fully stocked basement apartment. Wonderful host. I highly recommend this place for a great home base to enjoy the Vancouver area!
We stayed here as a family of four and it worked perfectly. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. Bonus to have a second bathroom when you’re travelling with two teenagers! Loved how close it was to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for ease of exploring the area. Highly recommend!
I booked this stay for my mom, and she loved it here. The space was clean, warm, and cozy. The checkin and checkout were straight forward. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a comfy getaway from city life.
The hosts were accommodating and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed. Access to laundry and ample bedding was perfect. The location was quiet, yet central and easy for us to access everything we needed on the north shore. The second bathroom and cosy gas fire place were bonuses! We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was clean, cozy and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. There is an abundance of cookware, dinnerware and utensils. The heating is great, and the bed is comfortable. All the amenities listed are present. The only issue is noise from upstairs. The host has kids, so occasionally in the day there’s quite a lot of noise upstairs. Other than that, it was perfect.
Place was clean and new and beautiful, just as advertised . But the people/owners up stairs have children , who were loud both mornings we were there , stomping around and running all over the upstairs first thing in the morning, not very nice to be woken up to.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
This rental was inaccurately listed as private and quiet. Voices and footsteps come through the floors and walls from the hours of 8:00am to 9:00pm, from adults walking and children running. The host's children use the "private" entrance to the unit as an area to play in. One afternoon, the host was standing on their deck directly above our entrance having a conversation with their neighbor who was on their own deck across from our entrance. We had to walk out between them. When we expressed to the hosts that we expected a quieter and private experience, they responded that they are allowed to live above their rental unit and didn't understand why VRBO advertises private and quiet rentals. I think this response says everything. We should have read the negative reviews more carefully. We contacted VRBO and attempted to cancel the booking to move elsewhere. They asked us to wait for 10 hours for the host to respond, which they didn't. We should have pressed at that point but were too busy with our activities to coordinate moving so we stayed. The fireplace was deactivated without any prior notice, there was no arrival binder, just a single-page water damaged printout, no collection of games as listed, no guestbook, no quiet, no privacy. The property was clean, but the overall feeling was one of being an intruder in someone else's living space. This was the first negative experience I've had with a short term rental and it will affect my future decision making.
Great place for a week and or few days in Vancouver. Lovely little neighborhood and hosts were quiet. No AC in unit but it was fine since it was cool outside.
This was a lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood. The street parking was easy. Bed was comfortable. Super clean.
We flew into Vancouver a few days before our cruise. We landed at 1:00, rented a car, and explored the Sea to Sky Highway. This north Vancouver location was super convenient for returning from that at night. It was also great for our early morning ferry out of Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo the next day (20 minute drive). The morning our cruise left, we headed 5 minutes over to Lynn Canyon Park to see the free suspension bridge. Then 20 minutes to Canada Place for embarkation.
This apartment was built/renovated like they made it for someone they liked. I’ve been in OTHER rentals where you could tell they were trying to see how cheap they could be and still trick people into staying. This one was comfortable and well made and well appointed. Would stay here again.
The studio in Lynn Valley was a perfect spot to base ourselves for our first few days in Canada. The home was clean, comfortable and very convenient to attractions and facilities. A lovely spot!
