We really enjoyed our stay. There is a lot of hiking to do near the cabin.
The cabin was really clean with a lot of appliances.
One of the queen bed is not really confortable and the coffee maker did not work. Otherwise, it was perfect !

Not a strange title if you think about it. The cabin was extraordinary clean. Started everything off well and continued that way. Nice decor, comfy beds. Lovely dining set that was very comfy to sit at. You are right near the trailhead for hiking. Needed some info and the owner responded quickly. Again the last word in the title fits

Thank you for the lovely review! 🌟 We're thrilled you found it an awesome place to stay. Looking forward to seeing you again! 😊🏡✨
The place is in a great location. It was very cozy w six adults. The kitchen had everything, but possibly not enough to prepare a big meal. There was the cutest toaster oven. The hot tub was nice. Plenty of towels. We contacted the management company three times about a broken bed frame and the key not working properly. They responded immediately by text, but never fixed them.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! 💛 We're thrilled to hear you loved the cozy vibe, the great location, the well-stocked kitchen (cute toaster oven included 😄), plenty of towels, and of course the relaxing hot tub — all the good RRG essentials! 🌲✨
We’re really sorry, though, for the inconvenience with the broken bed frame and the key issue. While we’re glad our team responded quickly, those items should have been fully resolved during your stay. That’s not the level of follow-through we aim to provide, and we’re addressing this with our operations team to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
We truly appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve — and we’d love the chance to welcome you back for an even smoother, cozier stay next time! 💛🌄
Our trip was absolutely incredible. The cabin was clean with everything we needed, the hot tub was working great and heated to 104 degrees, the porch was fenced so my dog was secure on the property, and having a washer and dryer with laundry pods was very helpful since we were caught on the trails in the rain. Management communicated very well and the road was pretty quiet for us. Our trip was early April.
You can walk to Muir Valley and its only 17-18 minutes from Tunnel Ridge Road where we hiked some amazing trails.
We will definitely be back soon!

Overall our stay was good. However, there were a few maintenance issues:Upon arrival, the electronic keypad battery on the door was dead and we couldn't get in. Thankfully after contacting the office we were able to open a key lock box and just use the key. The other issue was the neglect of the exterior. Grass was a foot tall, walkway to the firepit was blocked by overgrown thorns/briars and lastly the fire pit itself was full of debris. The exterior was much shabbier than the pictures. But, the inside was great condition, very nice and comfy. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to rock climbing couldn't be closer ! Price was fair and we would definitely consider returning again !

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and honest feedback! 💛 We're really glad to hear you enjoyed the interior of Muir Vista and that the location was perfect for your climbing adventures — that's what we love to hear! We're truly sorry about the exterior issues and the keypad inconvenience at check-in. That’s definitely not the first impression we aim to give, and we’ll be following up with our maintenance and groundskeeping teams right away. We’re grateful for your understanding and so happy to hear you’d consider returning — we’d love the chance to host you again and make your next stay even better! 🌲🔥🧗♂️
Cabin was cute. Great porch completely closed so safe for our dog to relax outside. Kitchen was mostly well equipped. Could use some cleaning spray, a few containers with lids to store cooked food. For those that cook a lot, bring everything you need ingredients wise. Including oil. Bed in room with dressers has a mattress that sinks in a bit in the middle. Shower and bathroom were spacious and clean. Sofa was comfortable and large enough for family. Hot tub was wonderful. Those with dogs should keep in mind that the porch faces a parking lot and the cabin is on a small road. Also the trails that the porch is on does not allow dogs. The electronic door lock doesn’t work and seems to be a common shared issue from others. The night we arrived the bed needed to be tightened and someone came immediately. The door received a new battery but still didn’t work. I think this is a great place for climbers and families but not the best for dogs.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the cabin, the enclosed porch, the spacious bathroom, the comfortable sofa, and of course the hot tub 💛🏕️
We also really appreciate you sharing the detailed notes about the kitchen items, mattress, door lock, and pet-related considerations. That kind of feedback is genuinely helpful. We’re glad our team was able to respond quickly when you reached out on arrival, even though we understand the lock issue was still frustrating.
Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing both the positives and the areas for improvement.
