Golden Bear at Shay Meadows is an amazing and spacious home, newly constructed and freshly furnished from head to toe with your vacation stay in mind our owners have provided the perfect peaceful getaway for your next group or family vacation to Big Bear. Situated on the very East end of town your cabin will back up to a meadow where you might see wild donkeys among other wildlife in a spacious open wildland known locally as Shay Meadows. Sitting atop a large open and flat lot you will have access to ample year-round parking within a ten-minute drive to all local activities including the ski resorts and Village shops.
Enter into the main level of your chalet as you are greeted with luxurious interior furnishings, gorgeous hardwood floors, and high vaulted ceilings, you will immediately feel as if you have your own mountain lodge to yourselves. The entry foyer offers a great sitting area and work desk while the elegance continues on into the cozy living room area, leather couches and lounge chairs are sat perfectly in front of the toasty gas faux log fireplace and mounted Smart TV, another wonderful space provided for your group to snuggle up for a movie night or enjoy the snow falling through the big open windows. You will love the open floor plan as every room leads to the next, the formal dining room area offers a custom log table with seating for eight plus amazing views and deck access paired with the breakfast bar stools and multiple sitting areas larger group meals and entertaining is a breeze here! No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.
No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.
This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.
We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
