Great location! A few quirks of the house but ultimately charming. Top floor is much nicer than the bottom- which had harsh lighting and a musty smell. Very responsive communications with Del Mar.

We had a great stay at the property. Very nice home with private location. Beautiful architecture and nice views. Close to Ryder beach. We enjoyed the outdoor space. Large master bedroom with a desk in the room. It was pet friendly and our dog enjoyed the stay too. Easy check in process. Would stay again.

This home was beautiful and well-appointed. We did a lot of cooking, and the kitchen was very well-equipped even for a lot of baking. The only thing that has us reduce from 5 stars to 4 is that we were 5 adults - 2 couples and a single friend. The upstairs room was gorgeous and big, but the two downstairs rooms were really small and not nearly as nice. But for a family with kids who are happy to navigate up and down spiral stairs, it would be great. We had a fantastic time!

The house was very special in it's design and furnishings.However, two main appliances were problematic, the induction cooktop and mini splits. These appliances were temperamental. They would work one day and not the next day, and some didn't work at all. We e-mailed our concerns to the managing agent, but didn't get a response about the mini splits. We would hesitate to rent here again unless we could be guaranteed all appliances and AC/heatings system were in good operational working order.

Perfect for 2 couples and 2 kids

This is a great house for six folks. There’s plenty of room to not feel like you are on top of each other. They provide most of the basics - towels, paper products, etc - enough for a week or so stay. The one thing I would say is that the third bathroom is pretty tiny. It is sufficient for kids, but older teens and adults will feel too tall for the shower, if not the whole room. It is also a bit of a hike to the beach - as stated in their description - but it was absolutely perfect for our stay. Thanks so much!!

The rating should really be two parts-1 for the property and one for the maintenance. The property is unique, private, nicely situated on a hill. Great light and good breezes. However, it is not being maintained well. Two of the AC/Heat head units did not work. The floors show excess wear from pets and should be refinished. The lower level had a distinct moldy/musty smeill upon checkin. It took us a full day to realize there was a water leak in the garage. The management company could be described as lackadaisical. I reported the water leak and it took them 2 days to respond. Further, they did not address the problem, but told us not to use the master bath for the remaining 2 days of our trip. A major inconvenience, as it is the only bathroom on the same floor as the master bedroom. You would be well advised to avoid a property managed by DelMar on Cape Cod.
