Indulge in the elegance of a distinguished red-brick heritage home nestled in the prestigious Rowan Street precinct of Bendigo. This 4-bedroom residence, just steps away from View Street, promises an exceptional family retreat surrounded by historical significance. Immerse yourself in the cultural richness of the area with proximity to Queen Elizabeth Oval, the renowned Bendigo Art Gallery, Capital Theatre, Rosalind Park, and the city's premier shopping and dining destinations.

This captivating residence boasts original period features, such as high, ornate ceilings, decorative cornices, stained glass windows, and multiple ornamental fireplaces, creating an atmosphere of timeless charm. Meticulously updated over the years, the home seamlessly blends classic elegance with modern luxury, featuring a bright white kitchen and a lavish bathroom with shower & bath plus 2 separate powder rooms.

There is also an adjoining dining area including a table with 6 chairs leading to a delightful deck overlooking the enchanting Guesli pool. A laundry with washing machine & dryer plus a separate powder room complete the downstairs floorplan.

Ascend to the upper level to discover four substantial bedrooms with heritage features and built-in robes. 3 bedrooms have queen beds & 1 bedroom has a single bed plus an optional trundle, in total the house can comfortably sleep a total of 8 people. There is an opulent family bathroom with bath, shower & double vanity, a separate powder room, an upper-level balcony with views of Rowan Street & evaporative cooling upstairs.

There is ducted heating downstairs and a split system heater/air conditioner in the dining/kitchen area. Parking is available on the street but please be aware of restricted times, otherwise there is unlimited parking in the laneway.

The meticulously landscaped gardens, adorned with established fruit trees, surround the property, creating a serene outdoor sanctuary. Enjoy premium amenities such as an inground tiled pool (Please note: the pool is not heated and the spa is currently not in use).

Education options abound, with primary and secondary schools within walking distance, including Camp Hill Primary School, Bendigo Senior Secondary College, Catherine McAuley College, and Girton Grammar School. The train station, Bendigo Hospital & St John of God Hospital all just over 1km away, and the art gallery, pubs, cafes, shops & restaurants a short stroll away this is the prime location for your visit to Bendigo.

You will have access to the whole house apart from a locked cupboard in the kitchen which is set aside for the cleaners supplies. Please also note the rear building and garage plus the subterranean cellar are not for guest use.

Although we won't be available in person we are available to assist at anytime throughout your stay via the booking platform.

This property has been beautifully maintained and styled by the owners. They welcome you into this gorgeous space but we ask that you respect the property and look after it as if it was your own.

This property has a strict no party policy and we welcome families to enquire about booking, please note groups of young friends will not be accepted for this property. We may ask you for further identification or information prior to accepting your booking request. We do not accept 'schoolies' groups at this property and the minimum age for check in is 25 years.

As an extra security measure for the property we may require the below information to be sent through prior to finalising your booking:
- The reason for your visit
- The names and ages of all of the guests
- The photo ID of the main booking holder
The reason we ask for the above information is unfortunately due to some recent poor experiences with guests, please note if this information is not provided we will be unable to proceed with your booking and the access will not be granted on the day of check in.

Please note: When you reserve the property payment will be taken upfront to confirm the booking. This money is held until your stay so if you do cancel (within the relevant cancellation period) the money will be refunded to you.
This property has a very strict no party policy and we require guests to be respectful and mindful of the neighbours.

There is no smoking allowed in the house, if you do smoke you will be charged an extra $500 towards cleaning.

We don't allow check ins or check outs on public holidays due to cleaners availability, if you try and choose this option it will say host unavailable on the calendar.

We do not accept 'schoolies' groups at this property and the minimum age for check in is 25 years. This property is offered for families and groups of young friends will not be accepted.

Great location and communication.

We had a lovely stay, the location was amazing, house was comfortable and the communication from the property manager was excellent. It would have been great if there were a few more essential items at the house eg more bin bags, washing tablets, oil and condiments. We ran out of bin bags and dishwashing tablets in the first 24 hours with 4 adults and 3 kids.
