  • 5 of 5

Beautiful & I was especially loved meeting the gentleman that owned it. What a nice guy. I was not much of a Florida fan before this, but now, I think I’ve found my happy place ❤️

I think I’ll stay here again next year! I love the fact that that it’s right on the beach! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!!!

Ideal for two

  • 5 of 5

Ideal accommodation for two. Light and airy, with more than enough crockery, cutlery & pans (although a little limited on kitchen counter/preparation space). Everything was immaculately clean with plenty of extra linen available if required. The lounge and bedroom furniture are very comfortable as is the balcony furniture. The weather wasn't as good as we hoped whilst we were there so probably spent more time indoors than we would otherwise have done.

It was spring break whilst we were there so all the restaurants were busy with long queues for tables, so we ate in a lot, but with the superb quality of fresh goods available at Publix this was no hardship.

Bob, Ellie & Suzanne were always very helpful when we contacted them and responded to any queries very quickly and professionally

Owner's Response: Anny, Thank you for taking the time to review Our Beach House (Upper unit), I’m happy you enjoyed your stay at our home! I’m glad you found everything you needed, and the place was immaculately clean upon your arrival, we are fortunate to have a good cleaning staff. We are also fortunate to have Ellie, Bob and Suzanne taking care of our guests, I’m sure they would’ve been happy to recommend some great restaurants that take reservations. We are lucky to have a Publix right here on the Island when you feel like cooking in. Please reach out to us next time you are planning your return trip.

We are coming back next year!

  • 5 of 5

We spent a wonderful week in this upstairs unit. I don't believe a person could find a place closer to the beach and ocean. The large deck was great with two lounging chairs, and a table with four chairs where we sat for every sunset. Large glass sliding doors open up into a very comfortable spacious dining/living room. Lots of light and windows. A full kitchen with a good stove and good pots and pans. No dishwasher but there is a small washer and dryer in the unit: total necessity for rinsing the salt water out of our swimming suits daily. The whole unit was very clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable. Nearly everything is within walking distance, even the historic bridge street section with their live music, restaurants and shops. There is also a free trolley to use, however we enjoy walking. We saw dolphins and manatees from our deck. The beach is very uncrowded. Not the best for finding seashells although my husband did come home with a perfect medium sand dollar and alphabet cone one morning after his walk. We are close to Coquina Beach, where we had more luck! The people we met were very friendly. The owners, who were staying below us, offered us the use of their umbrellas and beach chairs in their storage area. Our favorite eating joints were the Wicked Contina & the Gulf Drive Cafe (all easy walks). We picked up fresh steamed gulf shrimp at the Island Market-- a short drive. Every Sunday and Wednesday there is a Flea Market/Farmers Market on Coquina Beach that was really cool! Great prices! And the Publics has excellent food and produce catering to tourists. It was just a wonderful getaway for us from the cold and snow back home! We are returning! So excited!

cold beer and toes in the sand

  • 4 of 5

The location of the property on the beach is the best. The deck overlooking the gulf is one of the best perks. A little bit of road noise can be heard when you are in the bedroom at night. A noise ordinance should be put in place to restrict the loud motorcycles at night. The kitchen is outfitted with everything you need. The gas grill is a nice touch giving you the flexibility to cook outside. If anything is needed the management company is there to assist you. The location of this beach house is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants making it a great location.

Owner's Response: Thomas, Thank you for taking the time to review Our Beach House (Upstairs Unit), your cold beer and toes in the sand reference sounds like a Zac Brown song! The deck is great for lounging in the sun listening to the waves or catching the amazing sunsets while enjoying your favorite beverage! The whole island does have a strict 10PM to 8AM noise ordinance and is usually very quiet after 10. Our Beach House is equipped with just about anything our guests should need during their stay and our team of Ellie, Suzanne and Bob are quick to help with just about anything else. I’m sure they would love to hear back from you when planning your next Island getaway!

OHH the view!

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I had a great time at this beach house. We planned on coming back next year for an even longer period but could not because we waited too long to let the agency know of our intentions. They did send an email stating that they needed to know if we wanted to book again for 2019 within 7 days of our arrival and when we did notify them they had already accepted another booking. Our fault not theirs.

The home is comfortable and is close to quite a bit. We enjoyed being able to walk to most things like restaurants, ice cream shops and others in close proximity to this home. We would like to return for sure.

Location, location, location...

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd AMI stay. I wanted to stay in Bradenton Beach and this location was ideal. We were beachfront, with a great balcony, where we ate breakfast and sunned ourselves on the comfortable padded loungers. We were located next to the Tiki Hut where I had 2 Searenity Spa beach massages. We were adjacent to the Tortuga Inn Pergola where I did beach yoga every Saturday morning, walking distance from the Beach House Restaurant, where I did beach yoga on Sunday and Wednesday mornings and we watched their fireworks from our balcony on New Years Eve. On the beach in front of us we rented jetskis. For dinner, we walked to many places, including the delightful French Table, Blue Marlin, Beach House, Island Creperie, Wicked Cantina, etc. We walked to parasailing next to the Bridge Tender Inn, walked to shopping at the cute shops on Bridge Street. We drove, but could have walked to our favorite outdoor seafood spot, Tide Tables, in Cortez fishing village. We took the shuttle or the monkey bus for a very expensive fine dining experience at Beach Bistro where we ate on the beach during sunset, took the shuttle to the Feast restaurant and had before dinner drink at Decoy Ducks and after dinner drink at the Doctors office. There is a ton to do on this island if you like water sports and eating and yoga.

The 1 bedroom was small, but perfectly suited our needs with a very comfy bed. I would have liked a few more clothes hangers. The bathroom had great water pressure. They supplied ample bath towels. There were two threadbare beach towels supplied, which was fine since we used the comfy loungers, but would have been disappointing to take to the beach so I’d bring my own next time. The kitchen had ample glasses, wine opener, plates, etc. for cooking breakfast and there was a table both inside and outside, and umbrella. We shopped Publix for our own soaps, detergent, papertowels, cooking oil, etc. and drove, but you could take the shuttle or monkey bus. There were extra loungers under the house to take to the beach and a grill, but they needed to be cleaned and someone came a few days in to do that, but we did not use these. There is parking for 4 cars, more easily for 3 and it was tight when the downstairs had guests. The owner should move their car if both units are rented to make it easier to get in and out.

We had a great stay. I would defintely go back. They were accomodating and allowed an early checkin which was much appreciated

Owner's Response: Kathleen, Thank you for taking the time to review Our Beach House, we’re so glad you found it the ideal place to stay on your vacation! It sounds like you took full advantage of being so close to so many great restaurants and fun activities! The Doctor’s Office is a nice new addition to our Island, they offer craft cocktails in a cozy atmosphere. The free Island shuttle bus and the tips only Monkey Bus are both great choices when frequenting other parts of the Island. Thank you for letting us know about needing new beach towels and more clothes hangers, I’ll make sure these are taken care of. We do not anticipate parking 4 cars because both units are just 1 bedroom, but we can move it if notified. I’m glad that Ellie, Suzanne and Bob were accommodating and I am sure they would love to hear from you when planning your return trip.
