🏠 Located on the upper floor of a family home: (Will need to climb stairs)
The unit you'll be staying in is located on the upper floor of a family residence. Our downstairs neighbors are kind and respectful, and we ask that guests return the same courtesy- especially during quiet hours (11:00 PM - 7 AM)

🚆 Traffic Note:
You may hear passing trains during the day or evening, as our home is close to an active railway line. Many of our guests find the sound minimal or atmospheric, but earplugs are available in the unit for light sleepers.

😃💬 Inclusive Community Note:
We live in a friendly, family filled neighborhood, and one of our neighbors is a child with autism. You may occasionally hear joyful or expressive sounds as they play and communicate. Susan was very accommodating & quick to respond to any & all communication. The apartment itself was very nice, clean & well appointed. The only reasons for the rating were the steep stairs to enter upstairs apartment & the location was somewhat noisy all night & industrial.

Nice affordable apartment. Properly alerted potential renters of steps to reach apartment. Aside from bathroom apartment was very well cleaned. Tub and floor in bathroom were not adequately cleaned - hair on floor and in tub. Not at all fancy but a very nice basic no-frills apartment at a reasonable cost. Owner was an excellent communicator.

Baby Boomers from New England.

We were only in St. John for one night. We took the ferry the next day. The reservation worked very well for us. Everything was very clean and convenient. Would be helpful to mention that it is on the second floor....only accessible by two very steep sets of outside stairs.
