We stayed as a group of 4 as we had a wedding in town. The host was responsive and accommodated an earlier check-in. The property is close to downtown Newcastle and very well kept. Great layout, clean, comfy beds, full kitchen and easy parking. Highly recommend!

The basement hideaway was perfect for a few days of racing. It’s very close to the track about 20 minutes. We enjoyed our time there and the host was great with communication planning on booking this place again for our next trip.

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. It is VERY clean, the beds were very comfortable, as was the bedding. There is no carpeting which is also very hygienic. There are two lovely bathrooma with nice showers in each. We were in town for a wedding and the locatio was perfect, only 5 minutes to Bloomfiels Gardens. I would return. The host was also lovely and responsive.

Everyrhing was perfect nothing to Says enjoyed
Close to New Castle marina was perfect for us
Property was very clean and host was prompt in replying to all concerns. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others. Would recommend the Snug which was very close to property for lunch or dinner.
Host not very responsive, poor amenities (especially in the kitchen) and although it looks clean on line it is not so much. Host expects the guests to keep it clean otherwise there would be extra charges. Actually had a rule not to leave any hair around but there was no vacuum available. We were also asked to put our garbage out the second night, which we did but no replacement bags could be found the next morning.
Everything was just like the photos, very clean and organized. The host was very welcoming and I would 100% book again, not to mention the price was very good!

Why they chose this property
Newcastle, Ontario, is a charming and picturesque neighborhood located in the Municipality of Clarington, part of the Greater Toronto Area in Canada. The scene in Newcastle is characterized by its blend of historic architecture, serene natural surroundings, and vibrant community life.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of Newcastle is its small-town charm. As you walk through the neighborhood, you'll notice quaint streets lined with well-preserved heritage homes dating back to the 19th century. These houses often feature beautiful gardens and tree-lined sidewalks, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.
Newcastle is also known for its proximity to nature. The neighborhood is surrounded by lush greenery, including parks, trails, and conservation areas. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and picnicking in places like Bond Head Park, Wilmot Creek Conservation Area, and the nearby Lake Ontario waterfront.
Another highlight of Newcastle is its strong sense of community. The neighborhood hosts various events and activities throughout the year, from farmers' markets and art festivals to holiday celebrations and community gatherings. This tight-knit community spirit fosters a sense of belonging and camaraderie among residents.
Overall, what I enjoy most about Newcastle is the harmonious blend of history, nature, and community. It's a place where you can experience the beauty of heritage architecture, explore the great outdoors, and connect with friendly neighbors, making it a delightful place to live or visit.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique because its a modern & luxurious apartment nested within a small town full of nature. You get to enjoy a very comfortable stay while being steps away from the water and trails.
