Welcome to our enchanting Birch Haven Treehouse Retreat nestled amidst the lush canopy of towering trees. This unique and cozy getaway offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventurers alike.

Perched high above the forest floor, our Tree house boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding woodlands, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere for your stay. Accessible via a charming wooden staircase, you`ll feel like you`re entering a magical realm as you ascend to your treetop abode.

The interior of the treehouse is thoughtfully designed with rustic timber frame charm and modern comforts in mind. The cozy living space features comfortable seating where you can unwind and enjoy the tranquil ambiance, while large windows invite in plenty of natural light and offer stunning views of the surrounding foliage.

A well-equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your meals amidst the treetops, complete with all the essentials you need to cook up a delicious feast. Dine al fresco on the spacious deck, where you can savor your meal while listening to the gentle rustle of leaves and the chorus of birdsong.

When it`s time to turn in for the night, retreat to the inviting sleeping loft, where plush (heated) king sized bed(s) promise a restful night`s sleep under the stars. Drift off to sleep to the soothing sounds of the forest, enveloped in the cozy embrace of your treetop sanctuary.

Recommend driving straight up Route 3 from Colebrook. Do not take 145. When in Pittsburg turn left ONLY on Rabbit Run or Spooner. Do not take the Tarns. Safe travels.

Beautiful property with a view. Convienient parking underneath to get your machines out of the elements. Well appointed kitchen and gas grill.

Quiet Celebration

Quiet yet easy to access remote fun in the mountains. Many creature comforts at the cabin, allowing us to disconnect while still feel a sense of luxury. Kitchen is decently stocked, beds are comfortable, and hosts are willing to help make the stay memorable with excellent insight into the area, dining, and recreation.

Weekend getaway

We had such an awesome stay and really got to enjoy Birch Haven, between cooking dinner and staying in to the outdoor shower. Our stay was more than we had hoped for as far as cleanliness, communication, not to mention how kind the owners are. A lot of thought went into their home and it shows. Nothing beats a sunrise from a beautiful wrap around deck and a hot cup of coffee in hand. Definitely can’t wait to return. A huge plus was that the home is easily accessible for a weekend of riding, being that it is on the ATV trail.

"Gorgeous Tree House" is an understatement, it was breathtaking! We had every amenity and then some. Everything was super clean. The owners are very generous. Great Stay!

We adored this place and definitely recommend if you want to snowmobile in the area. Leigh was very helpful and quick at responding. The place was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

The "Treehouse" was special, cozy, clean, heated beds, the views from way up high...Leigh & Judy were more than accommodating. We spent time with them and they too, are amazing!!

Rural getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days after we got married to start our mini honeymoon. Absolutely adorable place with just the right amount of privacy. The owners were wonderful and offered fresh eggs from their chickens and were very quick to respond with any questions. We pulled up to the property at night and it was lit blue which was the coolest sight. We will absolutely be back!

Perfect Weekend

This house is stunning and the view… can’t get better than that!! Judy and Leigh were super helpful with recommendations around town and making us feel welcome. Went to dinner the first night and our second day we stayed at the house all day/night, the view was so perfect we didn’t want to leave! Thank you over and over again!! We will be back!

Rest and relaxation up in the tree canopy at the start of foliage season. Sunrises were amazing. The home was neat and clean. Furnishings are well appointed. Love the north country.

20th anniversary getaway

We had an amazing time in this beautiful tree house. The house was well equipped and the views were just amazing. Communication with the hosts was also very good. They helped us with many recommendations since we hadn't been to the area before. We would definitely stay again.

Tree House love!

What an amazing place to stay!!! Stunning views and great trail access. The place itself was so well thought out, all the little extras. Extremely nice host and the bonus... fresh eggs !!! A great way to spend our 25th anniversary!! We will be back.

Unique house with beautiful views

This was our first time in the Pittsburgh area, and we were very pleased with the area in general. If you love the outdoors, this place is for you! We enoyed hiking Mount Magalloway, biking on Cedar Stream Road, and spending some time at Lake Francis State Park. The communication with Judy & Leigh was great. They answered any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The house was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. The views off the back deck are great, and you will see a nice sunrise if the weather is good. If you want to spend some time way up north and don't want to rough it, this place is for you!

Spectacular

Fantastic place to stay! The view is incredible. You are right in the middle of all the lakes, just a short drive. The neighborhood is great for long walks along dirt roads. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need, spices, etc. The owners are very nice and live close by. Always making sure you have everything you need. Beautiful Getaway

This place was breathtaking. We had an amazing weekend getawat and the tree house was even more beautiful in person. Judy and Leigh were super friendly and helpful. They even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. So peaceful and quiet and we're already planning our next visit!
