This 5500 sq ft beautiful home is located just over a mile from Main Street and offers easy access to the island's bike paths, the Westmoor Club, Cliff Road, Washing Pond, and the calm, sandy beaches of the north shore which are ideal for children.

This spacious property boasts cathedral ceilings, an open-plan living space, a beautiful and newly renovated custom-made kitchen and a 12' by 50' heated private swimming pool. The house offers 3 working fireplaces, a study, a bar, a spacious laundry room with brand new appliances, a double garage, a BBQ grill, an outdoor dining deck, and an outdoor shower. It features 2 double bedrooms in the main house, plus a twin bedroom and a study (which can sleep two more children if needed), and a further en suite double bedroom in the pool house, which is perfect for staff or guests. The master bathroom and kitchen were new last year.

The property is surrounded by mature gardens of 2.45 acres and offers total privacy.

Bed bug droppings and poor communication

This home, while boasting beautiful exterior and grounds and located in desirable area, is a health hazard and had an inaccurate number of baths description when we booked. Having 3.5 baths for this size house is ridiculous and very inconvenient, especially when we expected 5. The island sink was leaking all over the floor beneath the island and spreading rapidly so we had to cease use until a repair was made. The pool house (containing one of the bedrooms and one of the full baths) was 92 degrees upon arrival, stale with bugs in sheets and bed bug droppings on mattress. Additionally, grill was dirty, no grill tools, upstairs shower nozzle broken and water does not stay on, cobwebs on ceilings throughout (and on all doorframes), pool was filthy and dead mouse was in it, to name a few of the issues.

Perfect Nantucket Vacation

Bridget’s home is beautiful, clean, well taken care of and big. We had plenty of room and the proximity to the town and beaches makes it a great area to spend your vacation. Birdget was very responsive and a great host. Would definitely recommend.

So close but felt so far!

This is a great property that is conveniently close to Town and great beaches! We went exploring often but the property allows for a great vacation even if you never leave! We’ll definitely be back!

My husband is Canadian and I am English and we have 10 year old and 7 year old boys. We are based in Europe so sadly do not get to spend as much time as we would like in Nantucket, but nowhere has ever felt more like home to us.

Why they chose this property

The relaxed charm of Nantucket can be felt the moment you step off the ferry and walk down the sunny cobbled streets for the first time. Add to that the beautiful New England architecture, the laid-back, friendly people, and travelling everywhere by bike with the sun on your back and you could not find a more perfect place to unwind.

What makes this property unique

Our house is one of those places that you never need to leave. It is light and airy with magnificent cathedral ceilings, beautifully maintained mature gardens, an irresistible pool and wonderful open-plan living spaces.
