Welcome to Rosie’s Cozy Retreat — a brand new, modern, clean, and fully furnished 1-bedroom suite with thoughtful comforts in mind located in beautiful Saanich, B.C.

This bright, private single-level, ground-level suite providing well-lit entrance features:
• Queen bed with luxury linens
• Full kitchen with modern brand new appliances. Including stove with air fryer function.
• In-suite extra large size front loader washer/dryer
• A/C & heating via heat pump in the living room, dining, and kitchen and a second one in the bedroom and heated flooring in the bathroom.
• Smart TV & Cable TV & Netflix & free WiFi
• Keypad entry & free driveway parking A doorbell camera is located upstairs that looks out onto the front yard and walkway only.. • Purpose-built suite with soundproofing: extra drywall, insulation & space between floors
• Pet-friendly

Perfect for work traveling professionals, relocating couples, or pet owners looking for a quiet stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood.

Rosie’s Retreat is ideally situated in a central location, making it easy to get wherever you need to go. Just 6 minutes to Victoria General Hospital and 10 minutes to the Westshore. You can reach downtown Victoria in 15–20 minutes, UVIC in about 20 minutes, the airport in 25 minutes, and the BC Ferries terminal in around 30 minutes. For outdoor enthusiasts, we’re only two blocks from the scenic Galloping Goose Trail, with several parks and other beautiful trails close by.

🧹 Complimentary Mid-Stay Cleaning for Extended Bookings

We are pleased to offer added comfort for guests staying longer durations:

– For stays of 14 nights or more: Guests may request one complimentary light cleaning, which includes fresh linens and towels, garbage removal, and basic tidying of common areas.

– For stays of 28 nights or more: A full mid-stay cleaning is provided at no additional cost. This includes all rooms, bathroom and kitchen surfaces, and a full linen refresh.

We will coordinate with you directly to schedule the service at a time that’s most convenient.

No smoking, vaping, or drugs anywhere on the property. For guests with a dog - To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all guests, we ask the following:
•If your dog will be left alone in the suite at any time, they must be kenneled/crated. Please note: guests must bring their own crate/kennel, as one is not provided.
Even well-trained dogs can become anxious in unfamiliar surroundings and may cause damage or disturbances when left unattended.

This was possibly the best vacation home rental my partner and I have stayed at ever. Linda provided great communication before, during, and after the stay. The unit was immaculate, and a lot of care/attention to detail was made in making guests comfortable. Linda really went above and beyond what we expected at typical stays.If we were to visit Victoria again, we would definitely try to stay here again as our homebase.

Everything was set up very well. Fresh pastries on table when we arrived to a clean well designed suite.The kitchen was well supplied and was laid out nicely.A pet bed and dog supplies were in place for our dog and we found it easy to walk the dog with a number of nice quiet dog walk routes from the doorstep. Our host was very responsive and helped make our stay even better.I will be recommending this location to our friends.

Rosie's Retreat is delightful

Linda was great to communicate with in advance and during our stay. The apartment is cosy, very thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable for two. We stayed a week while relocating to Victoria, and this was an ideal base, especially as we could get around by car (though there is a bus stop nearby). We also appreciated the warm welcome that Linda gave to our cat.

Perfect Victoria holiday place

This place is 15/10! Fully equipped kitchen, spotless, welcome bakery treats, coffees, teas, creamo in fridge, bath robes, extra bath towels. Detailed guest book binder. Full range of live tv and other channels. Easy drive to downtown, freeways. Very reasonably priced.

Even from before our stay I could already tell Linda was a super host. She had timely responses, good information on things to see and do and you could just feel the care she has for you and her home. First steps into her home, was a clean breath of fresh air. We were greeted with some treats and a warm welcome message. Loved the heated bathroom floor and comfy bed. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and only 15 min from the downtown area. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway. Thank you Linda!

Fabulous apartment

Rosie's retreat is a great place to stay in Victoria. Located in a quiet neighborhood just 20 minutes drive to downtown Victoria. Linda is a great host. She left us a few "extras" which we really appreciated. She was also quick to respond to us and checked in to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!!!

I would highly recommend staying at this particular unit. The hostess, Linda was invisible and yet any question we had we would send an email and receive an instant answer.The unit itself is brand new and beautiful. Everything you need is supplied in the kitchen. The living room is very comfortable with the dining area. The bed was majestic. Super comfortable mattress and pillows.We have been vacationing as husband and wife for over 50 years and this is definitely the best stay we’ve ever had.If you are vacationing anywhere in the Victoria or lower island area, you should consider staying at this location. Easily accessible to all kinds of stores and restaurants.

Wow!! We would like to put LUXURY in the description of this 1 bedroom suite/apartment style place that was perfect for the two of us during our 1 week stay. We were greeted with a nice welcome note from our Host Linda that included a sweet treat to eat which was very kind of her. We were impressed with the high-end appliances, very comfy bed, and great shower, and everything was so shiny & clean we were scared to touch anything lol. Linda went above & beyond with her Kitchen, bathroom & bedroom supplies that if there was anything you forgot or needed it was there. The location was perfect for us, close to our Son, major highways and amenities. Any questions we had she was very prompt in answering. All in all, we throughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be staying here again at our next visit to Victoria.
