Hi there! I'm Navid, and I'm thrilled to be your host. I have a deep passion for travel, and I love sharing the joy of hospitality with my guests. My background is in architecture and design, and I’ve studied at Ryerson University and Milan University. When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me enjoying a range of hobbies—whether it's cooking, cycling, reading, or exploring the outdoors. I’m also into weight lifting and always up for a good movie recommendation!

Why We Chose Lake Dalrymple for Our Cottage?

We were drawn to Lake Dalrymple because it offers the perfect balance of serenity and accessibility. Nestled deep in nature, the cottage provides a peaceful retreat, yet it's only 1.5 hours from Toronto—ideal for quick weekend getaways. The drive to the cottage along the lakeside road is stunning, with gorgeous views that welcome you even before you arrive.

While the area is quiet and peaceful, we love that there are a few friendly neighbors around throughout the year, giving it a safe and secure feel without taking away from the tranquility. Lake Dalrymple itself is renowned for fishing, making it a haven for anglers, and our private access to the lake allows us to enjoy this beautiful setting to the fullest. The large lot gives us plenty of space to relax and enjoy outdoor activities, from using water equipment like kayaks and paddleboards to simply soaking in the natural surroundings.

In addition to the natural beauty, we’re just a short 20-minute drive from Casino Rama, making it easy to enjoy some entertainment or dining out when we want a change of pace.

We’ve designed the outdoor space to maximize enjoyment, with a cozy sitting area, loungers, and a fire table, all positioned to take in the gorgeous lakeside scenery.

We’ve made sure the property is well-equipped for a comfortable and memorable stay. The full kitchen comes with every amenity you could need for cooking and dining, and we’ve provided board games, a Smart TV with streaming services, fresh linens, towels, and more.

For outdoor enthusiasts, our large private lot gives you plenty of space to explore and enjoy the lake. You’ll have access to a canoe for peaceful paddles on the water, as well as spots to lounge and soak in the surroundings.
