Relaxing chalet in the heart of nature: lake, river, mountains and forest

By choosing chalet la sérénité for your vacation, you offer yourself the opportunity to experience something truly unique, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The chalet is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. Additionally, the chance to gather with family or friends in a welcoming space encourages moments of sharing and togetherness.

The modern amenities, such as a fully equipped kitchen and renovated bathrooms, cater to the needs of today's renters.

Whether you wish to spend your days exploring the surroundings or relaxing by a wood-burning fireplace, a chalet vacation represents an enticing option for anyone seeking a rejuvenating and enriching stay.

The chalet includes 2 bedrooms and 3 beds with comfortable mattresses: a master bedroom with a King bed, a bedroom with a Queen bed, and a third Queen bed in the basement. Bedding is provided, with extra pillows, sheets, and comforters. Additionally, there is a single mattress in the basement closet if needed.

We love cooking, so the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare all types of meals. You'll also have access to various spices, oils, and other condiments. Convection oven, microwave, blender, etc. The only thing missing is a dishwasher, but hey, we’re at the chalet!

The bathroom has been completely renovated, with walls covered in natural pine. It features a large vanity, a shower cabin, and modern toilet facilities. There's no bathtub, as we opted for a spacious shower for added comfort. You'll find plenty of towels and essential toiletries.

The living room is certainly our favorite room in the chalet, with its wood-burning fireplace and especially its bay window that offers a panoramic view of the vast grounds, forest, mountains, and the water. The sun shines here all day, from sunrise to sunset. It’s the perfect space to gather, relax with a drink in hand, read a book, or just lounge quietly, doing nothing.

The basement has also been fully renovated, with natural pine planks lining the walls, giving it a warm and surprisingly bright atmosphere thanks to its over 9-foot ceiling.
The family room is very cozy, perfect for a board game (among the dozens provided), with the soft crackling of the chalet’s second wood-burning fireplace in the background. While sitting on the sofa, through the patio door leading outside, you’ll see the water and the geese wandering the grounds with their little ones.

You’ll also enjoy the HD television (43") with Roku system and a soundbar to watch your favorite romantic comedy. You can easily connect your own Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, Apple, Crave, Paramount, etc., accounts. There’s also a small TV in each bedroom.

Several books, comics, and magazines are available on the main floor and in the basement.

The second half-bathroom (sink and toilet) is also located in the basement, along with the washer and dryer.

This is where the third Queen bed is also found.

**The Exterior:**
A BBQ is available on the back deck along with a table and 6 chairs. The terrace leads you to our second favorite spot at the chalet: the suspended gazebo. Here, you can enjoy an aperitif while admiring the spectacular view in complete tranquility, protected by the screened windows. You’ll also find a hammock to relax in or take a nap while listening to the birds sing.

The fire pit is perfect for your marshmallow nights, guitar sessions, and dad jokes. There are several Adirondack chairs (including ones for children) for your comfort, and a few tree trunks for seating for the more adventurous.

2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards are at your disposal in the garage. You can explore the charming Rivière Noire directly from the chalet.
