Overall impression. Location is isolated and is quite far from stores. The house itself was clean and neat but primitive. We were thankful for the air-conditioning the first night. We found the fee a bit much considering the lack of any luxury in the home. If you are ok with bare bones then this would work but if you are looking for hotel type accommodations, this is definitely not your place. This should be noted in cottage description. Also screen door could only be closed by locking it from.inside or laying a brick against it from the outside. Bathroom sink leaked very badly and thus had to turn water on underneath sink when using it. Bit of a nuisance.

The cottage is on a drill well and we suggest people bring drinking water. Also, there is no garbage pickup so we ask that you burn what you can in the fire pit and take the rest home.

What I love most is the sense of calm and connection to nature, while still being close enough to small towns and local attractions for a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience.
