This apartment is up a steep hill, so you have to have good mobility to stay here. It wasn't a problem for us & it is only 10mins to the town. The apartment its self is good, much smaller sitting/kitchen area than the photos make it look. Ok for 2 people, but not adequate for 4 people. Kitchen was good, esp washing machine. Two ring hob ok, but the pots supplied were too big, so could only use 1 at a time. Internet TV gives you hundreds of channels, however it barely worked for longer than 10 sec at a time before freezing. We were told it was due to an issue with the mast on the island. We had to keep switching it all off & re booting it several times a day. Also the tv kept switching itself on, esp during the night, meaning we had to get up to switch it off. The sitting area had a lovely terrace, unfortunately there is no shade/parasol so we rarely used it. The bedroom was big, but inadequate storage. One wardrobe is taken up by a large padlocked 'private' box & nowhere to put empty suitcases. I found the bedroom to be quite damp at night & you can see where water/damp has came in thro the wardrobes. Bathroom was a good size with a great shower. However towels had seen better days, but ok. The area itself has several bars & restaurant, with a central plaza with a lot of the bars sharing a terrace. Could be a bit noisy, better for families with kids that couples. Most of the restaurant/bars are open air or had windows & door open, given that it was Jan & cool at night, we didn't eat in them as you had to sit & eat with your jacket on. We choose to go down into the town instead.
There are a lot of lovely stray cats in the complex, that are friendly, they are looked after by the Twinkle Trust Animal Aid.
Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by the neighbour. There was a lot of young people coming & going day & night, moving furniture, banging on the walls, playing loud music. We spoke to reception who did nothing. We were reluctant to approach them ourselves, so we eventually after a week contacted the management company & asked to be moved, which they did. It did spoil the first half of our holiday a bit. This can be an issue where ever you have holiday makers living in a complex where their are local residents (neighbours were locals). The management company said they hadn't had any issue with this before, so we may just have been unlucky.
Although we did enjoy our holiday & this is a good apartment I don't think we would book this area again.
