The apartment has had a full refit of the bathroom which includes a fantastic large, bright walk-in shower and there is a good sized galley kitchen which has everything available to cook a meal should you so wish, although the surrounding area has so many wonderful bars and restaurants you'd be crazy not to try at least one or two of them!

Guests will have access to the entire property during their stay.
## Interaction
I won’t be available in person but I have a fantastic support team who can be contacted by phone or email!
## Neighborhood
This flat is so centrally situated you can honestly find whatever you're looking for within a 10 minute walk! From bars that have been featured in famous novels (think Ian Rankin!) to top class seafood restaurants, Edinburgh has it all. With the famous Edinburgh Castle overseeing everything (and within easy walking reach) our flat provides the perfect launch pad for your stay in Edinburgh. You can even see all the way down to the Firth of Forth at the end of our street!
Thistle Street has some amazing boutique shops, bars and restaurants to suit every taste. There is Cafe Marlayne, Cafe St Honore, Fishers in the City, Dusit Thai, all on or just off Thistle Street (on the same block as our apartment). Just around the corner is the Queens Arms, a wonderful place to while away the afternoon and/or watch some sport, The Thistle St Bar, one of the smallest bars (in a good way!), The Bon Vivant (for a great cocktail) are only a minute's stroll away. Again, just around the corner is Rick's for some laid back tunes and a fun day/night! The list goes on and on!
Everything you could need is within walking distance. Sainsbury's supermarket and Marks and Spencer's is a 10 minute walk away on Rose Street. Princes Street and the picturesque Princes Street Gardens is literally 5 minutes walk from the apartment, providing the most perfect backdrop to the stunning Edinburgh Castle. At Hogmanay (or New Year's Eve to the non-Scottish guests!) all you need to do is walk a few minutes to witness the midnight fireworks - a great way to see in the new year (weather permitting!)
This flat is honestly one of our favourite places in the world to be so what are you waiting for?!
## Transit
Given its location Thistle Street is perfectly positioned for public transport around Edinburgh, and if you fancy a wee jaunt over to Glasgow, just head to Waverley train station (15 minute walk way or 5 minute taxi ride) or the bus station on St Andrew's Square. You can also grab a bus to anywhere in the city from Princes Street.
The city is also very well-served with a good taxi service - a rule of thumb being that £5-£10 will get you almost everywhere you want to get to from the flat.
Uber has just launched in Edinburgh as well. But, if you've got the time and inclination I love exploring the city on my own two feet!
## Notes
I provide all the essentials: towels, sheets, shower gel, shampoo and soap; you don't need to bring anything. There is also a hairdryer in the apartment.
