## Neighborhood
If you want to see London you come to Oxford Circus. It is the epicentre of the city and one of the most photographed and well-recognised sights of the whole world.
The roads are thronged by locals and tourists alike who come here to work, shop, eat and drink.
All the major tourist sights are close by starting with Trafalgar Square, Waterloo, Westminster.
I have so many eating and drinking recommendations for this area that if I start writing them here it will take up pages and pages of Airbnb's space. I will therefore only highlight a few of the ones that I go to most often - the Berner's Tavern in the Edition Hotel next door. This one is expensive but is a great experience if you want to splurge once on your trip. Have a drink next at the Long Bar at Sanderson Hotel. Another high end place but not bad for 1 drink I suppose. Chase away the hangover with brunch at Riding House Cafe on Titchfield Street. Their food is freshly cooked and yummy.
I would also recommend taking a walk through Liberty store on Great Marlborough Street. Its far to expensive to buy anything from except may be some of their cards and stationery but it is a lovely old store full of grace and elegance.
For a more contemporary shopping experience head to Selfridges on Bond Street.
## Transit
The closest tube station is Oxford Circus. It is on the Bakerloo line, the Central Line and the Victoria line. There are numerous buses that run up and down on Oxford Street.
You can also walk to Goodge Street for the Northern line.
