Summary:
Enjoy staying at our beautifully renovated Victorian town house located in the centre of Bury St Edmunds. It has charm with all the original features mixed with modern amenities. The cosy living room leads through to a dining room with an original checkered floor tiles. At the back of the house you'll find the kitchen and the shower room. The bedrooms have a king and a double bed. At the back is a lovely private gravelled courtyard with seating. Up to 2 well behaved pets are welcome, but we ask for £35 per pet per week.
The Space:
Living room:
You are welcomed directly into the living room with frosted glass, giving you privacy from the road but plenty of light at the same time. Furnished with a sofa, coffee table, additional chair, TV, book, games and some wonderfully quirky accessories and furnishings.
Dining Room:
Between the living room and the kitchen, with a step up up to the dining room. There is a large round table and four chairs.
Kitchen:
Lovely light room with door to the garden. Well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, toaster, kettle, electric oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, microwave and fridge.
Bathroom:
The large shower cubicle has a rain shower ad hand-held shower, WC, wash basin and natural light.
Upstairs:
Wooden stairs take you to two very comfortable bedrooms. The front room has a king size bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobes with hanging and shelf space. The bedroom overlooking the garden has a double bed with bedside units and shelves for storage.
Outdoor:
The small gravel garden is the ideal spot to relax in after a days shopping or sightseeing, furnished with a bistro style table and chairs. If you have a dog with you please remember to clean up after it outside and we'd be grateful if you could prevent them from climbing onto the furniture or going upstairs.
The Neighborhood:
Rich in history, visitors will find plenty to do in Bury itself for guests of all ages, truly a "jewel in the crown of Suffolk". Admire the magnificent St Edmundsbury Cathedral Abbey ruins and enjoy the tranquillity of the Abbey Gardens. Walk into the picturesque market town itself with medieval streets, independent shops, art galleries, award-winning restaurants, gastropubs and cafes. Walk or cycle through picturesque parks, woodland and meadows. For a longer stay travel further afield to discover the un spoilt Suffolk coast, university city of Cambridge or impressive city of Norwich.
