The property is in a great location which is fantastic & it has a charming old Spain look BUT it’s not the easiest place to stay at. The apartment is 2 levels but all your living needs are met down below. The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen are all down below which you have to access by a very steep & narrow spiral staircase or a narrow lift. It is extremely humid down there & there is a very strong musty smell and smell of sewage as well. We needed to ask them to bring us for a stroner dehumidifier which we needed to empty atleast 2 x’s day. Also requested another space heater because it was pretty cold while we were visiting. We also had to buy several room deodorizers to help mask the smell. There are no windows or doors down below so in case of an emergency the only way out was the 1 door on the main level upstairs which made us a bit nervous. You need to be careful not to have too many things plugged in at the same time because the power trips easily and the power trip box is upstairs which is hard to get to in the dark up the spiral staircase as the elevator does not work either when power is out. The bathroom is very tight & small space. The sink is right up against the toilet area and a heavier set person would have a difficult time using it as close as sink & toilet are to each other. I think maybe for a short stay it might be fine but for a long term stay (we rented it for 11 nights) it was quite uncomfortable due to all these reasons and I would not do again.
