The apartment CARAVEL is situated on the 4th floor with elevator in an art deco building.
Caravel has a big living room with dining area and open kitchen. The original beautiful wooden floor is one of it's highlights.
The 3 bedrooms are located at the rear of the building and thus provide a quiet place to sleep during the night.
The main bed room has its own bathroom with 2 sinks, bathtub and WC. On the corridor you find another bathroom with shower, sink. There is a separate WC.
Air conditioning and heating is provided throughout the property.
The whole property is yours to use and is self catered.
A meet and greet person will provide you with guidance and help for your stay.
Caravel is located between exactly 2 Quartiers: Jean-Medecin and Musicien/Thiers.
Quartier Jean-Medecin:
The lively Jean-Médecin district and the central avenue of the same name are packed with high street stores, chic French boutiques and restaurants serving international cuisine and brasserie dishes. Nightlife revolves around the rooftop lounges of luxury hotels and the cozy wine bars lining Place Wilson. Residents enjoy the black-and-white pavement of Place Masséna, and the Promenade du Paillon, a green corridor with creative play areas for children.
Quartier Musicien/Thiers:
Also known as the musicians' district, because of the many streets named after famous composers, the lively Thiers neighborhood is a residential area of elegant Belle Époque and Art Deco buildings, housing apartments, boutiques and friendly restaurants. Nice-Ville station is served by TGV and regional trains. The Théâtre de la Cité hosts one-man and children's shows, and the Jardin Alsace-Lorraine features statue-lined paths and a playground.
Reach the main shopping street of Nice in just a 2-minute stroll, with a grocery store and bakery only a couple of houses away. in addition, the beach is reachable in a 15min walk, while the nearby tram allows easy access to all districts of the city and also the airport of Nice.
The train station is located 10 minutes walk from Caravel allowing you to go to Monaco, Cannes, Antibes and also Italy.
PARKING:
The apartment does not have included parking. However, you can park your car in the public parking "PARKING LOUVRE" or "PARKING GRIMALDI". Those car parks are located a 2 to 5min walk from the apartment and offers advantageous rates if you book for multiple days (Abonnement).
BABY EQUIPMENT:
If you come with your baby, we can provide you with a baby travel cot and/or a baby high chair for €15 rental each.

PRIVATE TAXI TRANSFER:
If you would like to book a private driver service for the journey from the airport to the apartment (return can also be booked), simply let us know and we will take care of it.
CHECK-IN HOURS:
Please note that our check-in hours are from 4pm to 8pm. We will be happy to welcome you after 8:00 pm. However, please note that if you arrive at the apartment between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, you will be charged a late arrival fee of 20€ in cash, from 10:00 pm to midnight 30€ and from midnight to 1:00 am 50€. After 1am it is up to the check-in manager to check you in or not and the fee is 100€.
The late check-in fee can be paid in cash, via Paypal or Credit Card and is due at check-in.
With the general propagation of bedbugs in many countries, we want to reassure our tenants/guests that we do everything to keep our rental properties bugfree. The tenant/ guest acknowledges that the Owner/House Manager has inspected the Premises of any rodents, bed bugs or other infestations according to good knowledge and conscience. The tenant/ guest shall ensure that all personal property brought onto the apartment/ premises is free of infestations. The tenant/ guest shall keep the Property reasonably neat and clean to prevent pest infestation. The tenant/ guest shall immediately notify the Owner/House Manager of any pest infestation and shall cooperate in any necessary pest control measures. If pest control is required, The tenant/ guest shall make reasonable preparations in the rented apartment/ Premises as directed by the Owner/Property Manager for such treatment.
The owner/property manager disclaims any and all liability, such as for direct and indirect damages, losses, damages, and costs that may be incurred by the tenant/ guest as a result of a bed bug infestation. The tenant/ guest is advised to take out insurance against such damages, if necessary, in order to be indemnified thereby.
