Willkommen in unserer komfortablen, luxuriösen Wohnung im Erdgeschoss von Kana'i a Nalu (Gentle Surf) im ruhigen Ma'alaea, die oft als "bestgehütetes Geheimnis von Maui" bezeichnet wird. Unsere schöne und komfortable Ferienwohnung liegt an einem Ende einer friedlichen Sackgasse und vor einem unberührten und nicht überfüllten 3 Meilen langen Strand, 120 Fuß von Ihrer Lanai-Tür entfernt. Sie erwartet Ihr Vergnügen ...
Der Hafen von Maalaea mit seinen Geschäften, dem Kinderpark und dem Maui-Aquarium sowie die verschiedenen Touristenboote sind über die Autobahn in etwa 1/3-Meilen Entfernung zu erreichen - ein langer Spaziergang oder eine kurze Fahrt.

Unsere Eigentumswohnung in der Bucht von Ma'alaea ist eine wunderschön eingerichtete und dekorierte Einheit mit 2 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern. Major Remodel done (2007), ständige Verbesserungen, darunter 52-Zoll-LCD-Fernseher, New Master BR-Möbel, Gourmetküche mit Granittheken, Schränke aus Kirschholz und Designer-Geräte. Klimaanlage, Premium-Fliesen im Wohnbereich und vollständige Renovierung beider Bäder (einschließlich Whirlpool-Badewanne). Außerdem 32 'LCD in Master BR, 27' LCD in BR2, neuer super leiser Waschtrockner. Plantage Shutters in BRs, Klappläden im Wohnbereich, kostenloses Highspeed-WLAN. Parkplatz direkt nebenan. Wir haben gerade eine neue Spülmaschine und das Hauptschlafzimmer eine neue Matratze ausgetauscht.

Vor Ihrem Lanai erwartet Sie ein üppiger tropischer Garten mit beheiztem Pool und azurblauem Wasser. Der kilometerlange Strand und das klare Wasser laden zum Spazierengehen, Schwimmen, Schnorcheln oder einfach zum Entspannen in der Sonne ein. 4 Golfplätze im Umkreis von 8 km - darunter Sandalwood, Waikapu, Maui Lani und Elleair (Silversword). Die weltberühmten Golfplätze Wailea und Makena liegen nur wenige Kilometer südlich. Ka'anapali ist nur 20 Minuten nördlich.

We stayed for 10 nights in May/June 2024. Overall, this condo is a very good value for rhe money. The unit could use some cosmetic updates, but it is accurately reflected in the listing. The master bedroom mattress and shower were great! The kitchen is fully stocked..we did almost all our cooking here, the only thing we couldnt find was measuring cups/spoons, but most people probably don't cook as much as we do on vacation! The patio sliding door and screen are in need of maintenance/repair..they were difficult to use. One downside is that the HOA president was not friendly, especially towards children/teens. There were excessive rules about the pool and grounds which pretty much ruled out anything kids could do outside. This is fine, if thats the property's rules, but it should be disclosed before booking. The beach access is down the block, not directly in front of the building. Its an easy walk (no busy roads) We enjoyed the easy access being on the first floor and felt very safe.

Absolutely loved staying here during our family trip to Maui for 8 nights, and would definitely stay here again. The ground level lanai was perfect with kids who wanted to be outside constantly and get in the pool and beach. Location is great in central/south Maui and a fairly short drive to everything. It was perfect. Only complaint was the back sliding door is difficult to open and close even for adults.

Best Possible location
We absolutely loved this condo. The location was perfect. 20 minutes from the airport and close to all major highways. I don't think we missed a beach or hike. Did the road to Hana and both of the mountains. Took an amazing whale watching tour out of Lahiana. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. Beach chairs, boogey boards and coolers. We can't wait to go back.

This was our 11th stay in 21 years. We always go to this condo complex. This was the first time staying in the ground floor unit, very convenient. Not the greatest ocean views, but we just sat out on the grounds more often. We love being in the Maalaea area, very close to everything.

Wonderful location
Condo was beautiful and we had just a short walk to a beach that went all the way to Kihei!! Surfers out every day. Pool was just steps away. Grounds crew worked every day to keep the pool and grounds impeccable. Fresh flowers were a nice touch when we arrived. The condo was equipped with everything we could ever need to make our trip perfect. Be sure to ask the grounds crew if you need boogie boards or surf boards to borrow.

Einziges Problem war die Sauberkeit, tote Kakerlaken, nach einigen Minuten barfuß gehen hatte man schwarze Füße! Unter dem Bett war altes essen zu finden und Popkorn! Da würden wir nachschauen! Overall, great. One Problem: 1. Both doors would not lock properly so we had to spend all day inside on our first day waiting for maintenance, however he did fix it by the evening and there were no more issues with the locks Suggestions: 1. Please purchase new pots and pans and throw away those that are there, EVERYTHING sticks to them 2. Bring in paper supplies each week, so when people like us rent 2 weeks back to back we don't have to purchase what would have been given to new tenants after a week 3. Get two spatulas to mix with 4. Place a sweep under the front door so that leaves and insects do not come in when the doors are open for the breeze to come in Compliment: Your housekeeper was awesome trying to locate a lost hard drive from my computer. She went out of her way to search. She didn't find it, but tried and kept in contact with me the whole time.

Condo review
The location of the condo was perfect. The pool, grounds, and view were beautiful. The unit itself was a bit dirty upon arrival. We had to sweep and wash bedding prior to use. Several lights were out that we replaced. The couch could use a deep clean. The back door sticks and was very difficult to open and close. It was convenient that it was well stocked with cleaning supplies though.

Great Option for Reasonably Priced Oceanfront
The location of the condo was pretty centrally located with easy and relatively quick access to all areas of the island. The location was also quiet. The areas where more of the resorts are were very busy. It was great to be able to drive to those places to eat, go to the beach, etc. but then come back to our own quieter location. The condo was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning is not central air, it is a wall unit in the living room. It kept the main area cool but not the bedrooms. There were fans in the bedrooms that did help some. We literally could watch whales while sitting outside and drinking coffee in the morning. The Maalaea General Store was a great little place for breakfast and it was within walking distance. The beach directly in front of the condo is eroded. You need to walk down the street to get to the beach, although it’s a very short distance. I wholeheartedly agree with some other reviews that the condo is in need of maintenance, updating and a deep cleaning. I admit I have very high cleaning standards but I believe pretty much anyone would agree the condo needs a deep clean, regardless of their cleaning standards. Our communication with the owners prior to our stay was great and they were very responsive. If you are looking for a reasonably priced condo that is oceanfront this would be a great option.

Safe and comfortable
Fantastic location on the island and we were able to view whales from the property! Overall we felt safe here and the condo is clearly a home as it is stocked like one. It made for a very easy stay. The kitchen is appointed with everything you need for cooking. The beds were fine but the pillows were too firm for some in our party. Not a deal breaker. Everything you need for the beach is available. Showers had good water pressure and the bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again. Some things for others to consider: it’s not ideal for small children. There are pieces of pottery, flower displays and figurines throughout the condo. I was very afraid our infant would pull down the display shelves and get hurt/break things. The pack n play was broken but there is a listing for a local rental place right in the kitchen and it was a great value and service. I concur with other reviews that a deep cleaning is necessary. The floors, carpets and furniture upholstery need a serious steam cleaning. Check in was easy and clear instructions given. Wifi worked well. Parking was never a challenge and the grounds were maintained well. Communication with the owner was prompt and she was kind to us via the app.

We bought another condo in Maalaea originally in 1981 but sold it when our kids were in college. When we could afford it again we shopped all over the island but returned to peaceful Maalaea.
. The beautiful quiet beach, peaceful location, and cooling breezes called us back.

Since we planned on staying there ourselves a lot, we did some serious upgrading to the place; a flat screen TV in every room and a modern kitchen were a must. We opened up the kitchen so you could see the ocean from there,modernized with cherry wood and granite and installed a whisper quiet Bosch dishwasher as well as a modern quiet washer and drier since we don't want to be disturbed. We love it there and we are sure you will too. Check out our guest book when you visit and leave us your comments
We have also installed a new system that provides free WiFi (with our private security code) and FREE worldwide Long Distance from our in condo phones!
