Disappointing Stay
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was excited to stay here for my birthday weekend, but was really disappointed the rental had NO hot water and the TVs didn't work. Even on the hottest setting, the water was lukewarm at best. The TV in the bedroom only got one channel. The TV in the living area appeared to have more channels but most of the channels were unavailable. All the cables were hanging down and exposed so it looked very disorderly.When I told the front desk at check out about the problems, I was told I should have called maintenance. However, 1) maintenance wasn't available after 10PM, 2) we didn't start trying to watch the TVs until late so they wouldn't have been able to fix it that quick anyway and 3) we were only staying one night so by the time it was fixed we would have been gone. Pros: the beach and pool are very close by

It was me (Nana) my daughter and my 2 grandkids ages 5 and 3. My son in law was home doing some repairs. The unit was just big enough for the four of us. Not much in the way of breakable nicknacks which was nice. The pullout sofa was fine for me but I’m kind of small, might not be comfortable for a heavier person. The water not very hot maybe the heater could be set higher or it just runs our quickly. Kitchen could use a tea kettle, a couple more dish towels since NO dishwasher. We used paper plates and bowls. Could have a smaller saucepan and a few more utensils . But all in all we had a good time. The weather cooperated. Ice cream shop across the street was nice. Condo very close to pool and beach walkover. The is also a restaurant across the street with entertainment but we didn’t go since we had grandkids.

It was a close walk to the car and the beach. The staff was all so kind and accommodating. We used the heated pool and the charcoal grills. They brought fresh towels to us daily. The sunrise was beautiful off our patio. We were able to cook in our room. It was a great stay and a great price we will be staying here again in a few months, and hopefully it will be an annual tradition.

We have always loved Beachers and have been coming there for over 30 years. Everything about our stay was easy, unit wasn't ready when we got there early but they gave us the parking passes to stay and play while we waited.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is built like a studio except the bedroom is separate. Stayed on the lower level. It looks just like the pictures. There is a staff on the premises much like a hotel. Small toiletries, washcloths, towels, coffee, dish soap, pots, pans, etc. are included. We had a problem one day where our door didn’t work with our keycard, the staff took care of it immediately. Staff is very pleasant and professional. We were steps from the beach and the pool area. The pool was close, but you couldn’t hear noise from it. If you want to grill you have to go to a specific area. I think there were a couple of grills. There are ice machines and coke machines. I guess what disappointed me was there was nothing in the condo left by the owner or previous guests such as spices and non perishable items, no blender, mixer, only basic kitchen items, no beach items (chairs, boogie board, etc). I had just returned from the U.S. Virgin Islands a month prior and those items are much appreciated by guests who cannot just bring those things on a plane. However, the ice cream shop across the street is great, Safe Harbor restaurant is great and both are walkable from the complex. You are close to grocery, souvenir shop, Dollar General, and not far from St. Augustine and many other beaches. It was a very nicely decorated and clean place.

Solid property.
The unit itself was clean with plenty of towels and dishes supplied. It does show its age, and if you’re weather-bound inside the furniture is old and uncomfortable and the TV is well below modern standards. The view and location are lovely. Beach access is a breeze and the beach is excellent for sunbathing and swimming. If your vehicle is a 4x4 there is a vehicle access ramp immediately next door which is a fun experience. I recommend staying here if you spend the majority of your time out of the property; but, don’t expect anything fancy and bring your own entertainment.
