From the moment you enter the cabin through the beautiful front door you will be thrilled that you chose Black Bear for your vacation getaway. It’s definitely a step or two above the “average” Gatlinburg rental cabin.

Come on in and take a look around – beautiful living room with floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Comfy leather furniture to enjoy a great movie on the big screen or curl up with a great book. Or just enjoy conversation with your friends and family. It’s a beautiful spot to indulge in relaxing while on vacation.

Adjacent is the kitchen with several wow factors. Copper farmhouse sink, granite with chiseled stone edge and stainless appliances make this a wonderful place to prepare big meals or vacation snacks. It's just beautiful! Everything you need is furnished – you bring the groceries and the condiments.

Large dining table with plenty of room for four to sit together comfortably and spread out with all the fixings. Bar stools of course, you’re on vacation.

Down the hall is a fabulous master suite with extra large bathroom and a balcony for two. The bathroom is beautifully furnished with lots of attention to the details that make it one of a kind. The tub is one of those that invites you to luxuriate, pamper yourself and truly be “on vacation”. The details will make this a very special vacation stay. Enjoy! Beautiful tiled shower with glass door adds another touch of luxury in this spectacular cabin. Comfortable king sized bed, full size closet, tv and plenty of extra room to just relax and enjoy being away from it all. A great nights’ sleep and you’ll be ready for the next day and hiking, shopping, or just relaxing. You’re on vacation – you get to decide.

The main level deck is home to the relaxation station hot tub. Bubbles, heat, peace and quiet – and it’s all yours to enjoy. Let the cares of everyday life and the worries and stress jet away as you let the heat and bubbles do their magic. Shutter board on deck provides extra privacy for your enjoyment.

Around the corner, but conveniently located on the main deck is a gas grill that will hold all the burgers, steaks or hot dogs you want to toss on there to eat fresh and hot. Everyone wants to grill while on vacation and there’s plenty of gas, it’s plumbed so no need to worry about the tank running out.

Beautiful wood staircase leads you up to the loft area where you’ll find a vintage arcade game console for your entertainment pleasure. And a checkers table all set up and ready for action. There’s also a couch for those quiet moments to just get away by yourself. Half bath for your convenience.

Ensuite queen bedroom is beautifully furnished and ready for your guests or the kids with beautifully tiled tub/shower in the full bath. Privacy, comfort and beautifully decorated. A great getaway and a wonderful place for a good nights’ sleep so you are rested and ready for the next days’ events ….whatever that may be for your group.

Driveway is shared with our sister cabin The Buckhorn - beautiful! You can rent both then invite friends or family and be right next door to one another and yet still have your own space.

Located in Gatlinburg just a few minutes from downtown and all the attractions, you will find it very convenient to get to your days’ activities. Only about a mile from the main trolley stop on Wiley Oakley, you may want to just park and let someone else do the driving for you.
