These were beautiful accommodations! As a matter of fact, I told my hubby this is what I want our retirement home to be. Folks should be warned, however, of the 36 steps to access. We are 70 and that was quite an undertaking with luggage, coolers, blankets, bedding, etc. There, unfortunately, were no garbage cans for trash as it listed in the Rules so that was disappointing. Fortunately, our family was an hour away so when we visited them we brought our trash with us! The washing machine was really crusty w/rust and dirt on the inside. It left some spots on my clothing. It needs a thorough house cleaning around the machines and bathroom floors. I did the best I could in cleaning the machine and floors.
Our granddaughters loved their bunk bed room. It was adorable! The cushions in the windows is a cute idea. The plastic utensils are needing replaced. Yikes! I truly believe providing dish detergent, sugar packets, some cleaning cloths, paper towels, even garbage bags would not break the bank for the condo owners. It's a chore to carry all the bedding & linens, food, etc. so while it seems minor it would be most gracious. And finally the white couch was beautiful and decorative in the theme of things, however, truly is not conducive for a beach house. I covered everything with sheets and blankets so it would not get soiled. Just a thought! All the folks we met in the building & next door were very pleasant and our entire trip was wonderful. I'm a little OCD and notice everything so that's why I'm so detailed with my review. Please do not be offended. It was a relaxing experience to wake up to the beautiful sun rise and sit on the deck with our coffee every morning! Thank you. Have a Happy New Year!
