## Notes
The Riviera Palace was built in 1898 in Beausoleil, in the bay of Monaco, for the Compagnie des wagons-lits, by the architect Georges Chedanne.
It is presented in an eclectic Italianate style of the Belle Époque with ochre facades and blue majolica balustrades. Its winter garden remains one of the most famous with its architecture, rockeries and subtropical plants.
The glass roof was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel. The greatest stars, from Hollywood to Paris, have stayed here.
