## Emplacement
Indissociable from the famous Marais district, which also spans most of the 4th arrondissement and is the quietest part of it, the 3rd arrondissement is one of the most pleasant places in Paris to live, as long as you like peace and quiet. A "sophisticated village", the 3rd arrondissement contains several open-air markets, a huge covered flower market and many specialized food shops, particularly along the rue de Bretagne.
