L'Aquila on 30A, and the community of Dune Side are located less than a 10 minute walk from the Blue Mountain Public Beach Access, a convenient beach access with public restrooms. The provided Golf Cart means a short ride to the beach!



 


Dune Side of Blue Mountain Beach is a new upscale resort community located among the highest elevations along 30A. The home also sits within walking (or biking) distance to Point Washington State Park, and its meandering nature trails, with beach access about a half of a mile from the front door!


 


On the back patio/porch, you will find a heated private pool and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the sunset.  Alternatively, it's only a short walk from the covered front porch to get your toes in the sand!


 


Hardwood floors, modern furnishings and simple coastal decor are just a few of the features that make this home a worthwhile escape. The living room offers comfortable, premium furnishings while the dining area offers seating for 4 with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. This leads to a large covered front porch, perfect for the whole family to unwind and enjoy the sea-breeze.


 


The Downstairs King Suite comes with a private bathroom, complete with Dual Vanity sinks, spacious walk-in shower and a soaking tub.  Two more bedrooms, including another Queen bedroom, are located on the second floor. The other bedroom on the second floor comes complete with a comfy Queen Bed. Like the other rooms, it has it's own flat-screen TV, which means no fighting over remotes on this Vacation!

Private Pool:


**L'Aquila on 30A's private pool can be heated upon request between Oct. 14th - May 12th for $35 a day. If heating of the pool is desired please notify us forty-eight (48) hours in advanced as to allow the pool to reach optimal temperature.  The pool is 5 feet deep max.


 


**** Per State Law all private pools must have alarms on all windows and doors that can led to the pool. This home is equipment with this state required alarm****



 


No Pets: No pets of any kind are permitted in L'Aquila on 30A. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.
No Smoking: Smoking in any form (e.g. cigarettes, cigars, “e-cigarettes” or “vapes”) are not permitted in L'Aquila on 30A. No exceptions will be made. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional $500, plus the expense of steam-cleaning and deodorizing. Violations will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of rent.

Golf Cart: The Golf Cart is provided to the Guest by a 3rd Party Vendor, BeachWalk Vacation Gear, LLC ("BVG, LLC"). The rental policy signed is between the Guest and BVG, LLC. Golf Cart is not owned or provided to the Guest by the Homeowner or BeachWalk Vacation Properties, LLC.

NOTE: This home comes equipped with a Ring Doorbell Camera, for guest safety & security.
This only monitors when it detects motion in front of the front door/doorbell.

Good but not great
Everything was great except: 1) temp was 56F when we arrived and did not reach 68F until almost 16hrs later, making it difficult to sleep first night 2) pool did not reach desired temp on second night (fine on first night) 3) lots of construction next door. Very loud and sight of dumpster, port-a-potty, and construction material affected atmosphere

At least it was only a 4 night stay. Roaches inside grill. Construction on BOTH sides of the house
Where to begin… We stay in this neighborhood ALL THE TIME including this type of house layout so we know what to expect. This house is our LEAST favorite. Firstly, this house AC unit is ran off Wifi and on this “Eco” setting so this means it adjusts to whatever temperature. If you’re not in the house 24/7 the house will be on 78 time you get back. The fan on the AC system doesn’t run all the time either so the house is stuffy. Secondly, thank god our children was not with us and staying upstairs because the staircase railing was SO LOOSE, to the point it’s almost about to fall off. Also, there are NO computers upstairs for “gaming” like listed in the pictures. Thirdly, yes this house is listed saying construction. There is nowhere stating construction is on BOTH SIDES OF THE HOUSE full; off workers watching you 24/7 With a port a potty sitting in the front yard. We speak Spanish and I didn’t appreciate their nasty comments made about me in my bathing suits. We had to have our blinds closed the ENTIRE TIME. How are the owners going to charge $3000 for 4 days when you’re basically a prisoner of your own home. Next, this is the only house I have stayed at in this neighborhood that has a ring doorbell camera and other cameras . No privacy , what so ever between the construction workers and these cameras everywhere out front. No lights inside the pool and the cheap LED lights hanging around the railing outside do not work after 10:30PM . There are lights overhead but who wants mosquitoes and whatever bugs flying around. I would suggest heating the pool in the fall. THE TOPPING ON THE CAKE is that they state there is a gas grill, yes with ROACHES!!!!!!! Yeah realll appetizing . So never used the grill. No access to local channels except for the TV outside . There is no way of getting Hulu on any of the TVs ( only app to have local channels ) VRBO states they have pool towels, there are none. No box fans in the bedrooms .and would not bring me even one . Other homes have brought them for us . Their suggestion was oh every room has an overhead fan LOL yeah that doesn’t work in a stuffy home. I suggest staying in this neighborhood based off location BUT I wouldn’t use this company or in this home. Use the homes that are ran by the private owners. This house is a lawsuit waiting to happen and a home with ZERO PRIVACY. This might be nice for people that don’t live in homes like these but for us who do, this house is a 2/5.

Great location.
This property had a great location and was well stocked. There was a constant odor that smelled like mildew/mold. Temporary issue, but the listing failed to mention the fact there is construction to the left and right of property, dumpsters and portable toilets flanking each side of driveway. Would have been a courtesy to notify, especially at the rate that was paid. Again, location great, ammenties of home great, construction bad, odor bad. Would recommend with those items addressed.

Gorgeous home w/ lots of space!
Fantastic home, close to beach, shopping, ice cream and more. Only drawback was the constant construction next door, which was not disclosed to us during rental process. Absolutely no way to sleep past 7:30 a.m. :-( Aside from this, the home was really beautiful, comfortable and plenty of space for a family of 5! We would definitely come back -- after construction on both sides of property are done.
