COLD!! Maintenance lacking
We arrived at this house after a day of skiing to find that the heat didn't work. This was February, and it was around 40 F indoors and falling. In addition, the smoke detectors were chirping their annoying low-battery signal. After a call to Vacasa customer service, they did send a maintenance guy in about a half hour, but it took until 3-4 a.m. for the air to warm up. Fortunately, there were blankets to huddle under.
All this seems like a lack of attention to important details. I wonder if pipes would have frozen if we hadn't been checking in?
There was no garage opener provided, and customer service did not know the code for the outside garage door keypad, so coming and going involved walking around to the front door to open and close the garage. The sidewalk from the driveway to the door was not shoveled, so this was always a messy process.
Customer service offered to reimburse our dinner out.
On the plus side, its a nice, roomy house. Good kitchen. Clean. Well-located.
Dining table is kind of rustic picnic table style; bench seating on one side was uncomfortable.
