HORRIBLE! DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS PLACE! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
We booked this place on 12/23. They never sent me a welcome email. Their phone number was invalid. The email link left no email. On the day of our stay, we still received no information. We wanted to check in but still received no information. VRBO emailed and called many times at 10am, 11am, 1p and again at 4pm. There was no answer and no information. Three different attempts and they still did not answer or return a phone call or email. Thus, at 4:30pm on 12/31--we were left with no place to stay and were forced to find a different place ON NEW YEARS EVE!!!
To add to the pain, they emailed me three days later with an invoice and "Thank You" note for staying at their place. When I emailed them back and demanded a refund--they responded to my email with "since it was a no-show you will get no refund, and you were lucky we did not charge a non-cancellation fee!" Seriously??? Really???
You provide NO CONFIRMATION/WELCOME EMAIL, A NON-OPERATIONAL PHONE NUMBER, NO RETURN PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS, NO CHECK-IN INFORMATION, AND THEN YOU KEEP THE MONEY AND DO NOT PROVIDE A REFUND EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE THE ONE AT FAULT DOR NOT DELIVERING ON YOUR PRODUCT!!?? Wow. Bad job... I have now spent over 3 hours of my personal time leading to frustration and anger because my NEW YEAR's EVE was completely ruined due to a lack of communication and simple performance of normal business practices.
