Aloha and welcome to Mahana #1003. We named our special getaway "Nani," which means "beauty" in Hawaiian, after the breathtaking view of the ocean and sky from our ocean-front vacation home. The stunning view will greet you the moment you walk into the studio. In 2015, the unit was remodeled with new hardwood floors in the living area, bathroom tile, and a king-sized bed with a high-quality mattress. In December 2020, a new glass-top oven range and overhead microwave were installed, as well as a new sofa sleeper to accommodate a third person. If you need to work remotely, the unit has excellent free wifi, a printer, and long-distance calling to the United States and Canada. It also has central air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. This spacious studio condominium on the 10th floor is ideal for viewing the famous Maui sunsets and rainbows. From the comfort of your private balcony, you can watch whales, dolphins, and turtles swim by, as well as enjoy breathtaking 180-degree unobstructed views of the ocean, the beach below, and the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The Mahana is located at the northern end of Kaanapali Beach's famous white sands, which are ideal for snorkeling and swimming. The adjacent beach boardwalk, which leads to Whaler's Village and beyond, provides miles of walking or jogging opportunities. Restaurants, supermarkets, and dive shops are all within walking distance. Only a few minutes away by car, the town of Lahaina offers a wide range of excellent restaurants, shops, and nightlife options for people of all ages. Whale watching, fishing, snorkeling, and sailing excursions are available at the nearby Whaler's Village and Lahaina Harbor. Golf is available in Kaanapali and Kapalua, both of which are within 5 miles. The Mahana at Kaanapali is a luxurious AAA-approved resort ideal for a romantic getaway, offering a quiet and safe environment for guests of all ages. PLEASE NOTE: The upcoming roofing project is scheduled to commence on April 15th, 2024, beginning with preliminary setup in the vicinity of Lanai Tower. Following this initial phase, the project will transition into the roof demolition and repair stage starting on May 1st. Mahana 1003 located in the Molokai Tower and is tentatively scheduled to start in 2025 and not affected by the 2024 work but please be aware of the ongoing construction at the resort.
