Delightful lake retreat with sunset views - located on the east-shore of north Lake Leelanau, near to the Narrows!
Located on a private road, this home is perfect for a quiet relaxing stay while still close to all things Leelanau County. Food, drink, and entertainment are nearby - paddle through the Narrows to the Village of Lake Leelanau, ride by motorboat to Leland or down toward the Tiki-bar on the South Lake, or drive to visit any of Leelanau County's many wonderful resources (Sleeping Bear Dunes, 24 award winning wineries, over14,000 acres of conserved land with popular hiking trails and vistas, to name a few!). Just 10 minutes to Leland and Suttons Bay, 15 minutes to Northport, and about 30 minutes to Traverse City, this is an excellent, central location.
Freshly updated in 2022, this home boasts all new furnishings and many new interior finishes, and has an easy coastal vibe that feels immediately like home. On the main level, two bedrooms (twin trundle / queen) and a full bathroom are located away from the main kitchen and dinning hub of the house - a great private wing for a family or kiddos, up to four guests. Upstairs, two guest bedrooms (king / double) and a master suite with king-sized bed can easily accommodate up to six visitors. Both guest bedrooms have peek-a-boo lakeside windows and charming interior decor. The oversized master suite has numerous amenities, including: a large walk-in closet, a bright, en-suite bathroom with tiled shower, dual rain shower-heads, and double sink, and a charming private deck overlooking the water to the sunset-sky beyond. A cozy settee and flat-screen tv make this modern master suite a private spa-like retreat right at home.
Host your friends in the generous main floor living area - a comfortable, open space for entertaining, all within view of beautiful Lake Leelanau. The island kitchen is well appointed (with adjacent grill outside) and is great for quick meals over barstools; while the dining room and adjacent dining deck are both available to host your elaborate lakeside dinners.
On the occasional rainy days, quiet mornings, or late evenings, the main floor living room is your go-to space. Generous in size, the whole family can gather together here for laughs and conversation or movies and football on the big-screen TV. A hidden screened-in porch is a great, quiet space for cocktails or coffee while watching the boats pass by.
Outside, enjoy sunsets from the firepit, sunbathe on the dock, or roll up the garage door and play ping-pong or cornhole while watching the boats drive by - there are many excellent lake-side activities here.
Truly Lake Leelanau living at it's best, this home is a wonderful home base for all of your northern Michigan adventures!
