The home has been newly remodeled and designed to take you on a journey into the 1920's. The home was inspired by its original owner, John T. Townsend and built in 1925. As you walk in, you'll be greeted by tall ceilings showcased by elegant wallpaper and original shiplap in the living and dining room. Throughout the home you will find original craftsmanship with large window casings, original hardwood floors and built-in cabinetry. The property is a 3 bedroom one bathroom with a super comfy king bed in the primary and queen in the front bedroom and a twin trundle in the back bedroom. The third bedroom also includes a work desk and gallery wall with original wallpaper, and a photocopy of the original property deed. This house sleeps up to 6 people comfortably. The home is equipped with ROKU Smart TVs with your favorite streaming apps (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, etc). Just use your credentials to log in and you’re good to go. The updated kitchen boasts quartz countertops and new stainless-steel appliances. Want to fry an egg? Go for it! Want to roast a turkey? We've got you fam! Wake up to a fresh cup of morning Joe either by the pot or single serve K-cup. Fret not, coffee, cream, and sugar are provided. There is a large patio area with BBQ Pit and fire pit. You will have the entire home to yourself! There is a driveway with room for 2 cars and free on street parking right in front of the house. There is a walk up porch that leads to the entrance to the house.

*Galveston has the potential for flash flooding. If your car is parked on the street it could get flooded. We have a driveway with space for two vehicles.
* Hurricane Season - A full refund will only be issued if the City of Galveston initiates a mandatory evacuation of the City of Galveston. Please purchase travel insurance if necessary.
