Checkout Process - GROSS
We are 5 mothers on a 1-night getaway and left the house exactly as she asked us to follow in a notebook in the house. We were asked to take all sheets off the beds and leave them in the middle of the mattress.
Once we did that, in all 3 rooms, unfortunately -- there were urine stains all under the sheets on the mattress pads.
Not just 1 stain, multiple, all over.
We were terribly disgusted that we slept right on top of that.
As soon as we checked out, I received an automated reply to give them 5-stars.
I responded with pictures of the urine stains so they could make changes for the next guests -- Coco NEVER responded or acknowledged my email.
I sent it 2 times, with pictures, b/c an expensive refundable deposit was required by VRBO that I still have not received. I wanted to ensure she knew that was not our group that made those stains.
With 2 emails and pictures, there was never an apology or even a confirmation that she received it.
Guests should not have to take sheets off the bed. We are there on vacation.
It's been 7 days, still no refund and still no acknowledgement from Coco -- only emails asking for a 5-star review.
The location is good, but this was a major turnoff. The pool was decent, but it needs shock, and the bar has cobwebs all over it. For the price, this should be in much better condition.
I would NOT book again. Very disappointing end to our 1-night getaway.
Very gross and unsanitary. AND no refund (yet).
