Bug Infestation with minimal help from rental company
Overall this was a frustrating and disgusting vacation. There are two parts to this feedback: the actual home and the challenging and frustrating experience working with specific employees with Five Star Properties. The home is in need of immediate repair and maintenance. We experienced a millipede infestation beginning the day after our arrival and then the infestation inside the home peaked on Thursday and Friday after contacting Five Star and having them spray and tape the home. We have time stamped documentation of all the millipedes and the last straw was the millipedes coming into the home and crawling up the drapes on the patio doors inside the primary bedroom. The millipedes were in all rooms of the home with, one point on Friday there were over 300 millipedes.
We promptly contacted Five Star on Sunday the day after our arrival for help In remedying the initial millipede infestation. It was a very difficult and frustrating experience trying to get help with how to work on getting rid of the millipedes. On Friday we spoke with Felicity who was extremely difficult to work with on how to get rid of the millipedes. We followed the procedures per Five Stars policies on how to “treat” the millipedes and yet the millipedes were stilling coming into the house. When we requested to speak with a Manager Felicity bluntly stated this would not be happening as there’s no manager to speak. We ended up vacating the house early as the house was crawling with millipedes.
