The Space:
Welcome to Jensen Cabin! A beautiful two-story picturesque log cabin located in the woods of gorgeous Island Park, Idaho. This home away from home sleeps 12, 5 queens sized and one king in the Master. There are 3 private bedrooms, each with their own lovely views of the surrounding lodge pole pine tree forest. The large loft hosts two queen beds and a splendid view to wake up to out of the vast encircling windows. The loft also has its very own access to the upper deck for even better views, a great place to watch the sunset. The cabin has two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one down, with an extra 1/2 bath in the lower level as well for your convenience. The spacious kitchen has a large island to give you plenty of space for some in home cooking. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utilities to make cooking for the crew easy and efficient. There is even a BBQ grill on the large, covered deck for some tasty burgers. Gather around the fire pit in the summer months for story telling under the stars, or of course to roast a classic s’more.

Island Park is a well-known destination for its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park. Jensen cabin is only 29 miles to the West entrance of Yellowstone. An easy scenic trip down highway 20. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Side Lodge, a fantastic local joint for good eats and drinks! You my even chose to rent a kayak from them in the summer months and float along the Island Park Reservoir or ice fish in the winter. The reservoir is stocked with fish, don’t forget a fishing license! Refuel just down the road at the Elk Creek gas station, conveniently located close and near to many snowmobile and ATV trails. There isn’t a lack of wildlife in the area including mule deer, fox, elk and even the occasional bear. Jensen cabin will make your wilderness vacation simple and fun, just what you need to fulfill your adventures!
