Soo Line Rail House - Our 2 bed, 1 bath dog friendly Stone Lake house is the perfect retreat for couples or small families seeking a cozy getaway. Whether you're looking for a relaxing weekend spent lounging by the lake or an action-packed adventure exploring the great outdoors, our place is the perfect base for all your outdoor activities. After a day spent exploring the area, come back and relax and unwind with the local wine bars and eateries, all within walking distance.

This home truly has room for your family to spread out and enjoy.

The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, and kitchenware. You will find a single burner, electric griddle, Keurig Duo, and toaster oven for your cooking needs. **There is no standard kitchen stove / oven. We do provide a hot plate and a toaster oven that will work for most meals and cooking. **

4 bar stools at the kitchen island with an additional 2 chairs and a small table off the living room. Dishes are stocked and provided for you to cook and enjoy a meal with your group.

The living room opens to allow seating for up to 6 with a couch and 2 casual sitting chairs. A smart TV with Roku that is WIFI ready and allows you to log into all your favorite streaming channels/apps. Complimentary WI-FI for guests to use or work.

There is not a laundry room on property, however a nearby laundromat if needed. We do have additional hangers for hang drying cloths if needed.

There is not a garage on property, Parking is located at the front of the home. The driveway holds two vehicles. Street parking is available but be mindful of snowplows in the winter months. **Please do not block the neighbors’ driveways or crowd the street with vehicles. ** Contact host if additional parking is needed or with trailer questions.

There are 2 steps from ground level to get into the home at the front door.
Primary Bedroom - 1 King Bed, a sitting chair and walk in closet.
Second Bedroom - 1 Double Bed, a desk is also available in this room as a workspace if needed.
Full Bathroom is off the kitchen, with a walk-in shower. (No tub)

NOTE- This home is for family vacations and small friend group get togethers and is in an exclusive neighborhood. It is not to be used as a party home. You must be 25 or older to rent this home. It is only through your responsible actions that we can continue to offer this private home as a rental. Please respect our home and take good care of it.

DOG FRIENDLY:
We LOVE dogs and we want our guests to enjoy their vacation with the whole family, including the furry members :-) That being said, please be mindful of whether our home is appropriate for your dog. We do charge a 125$ nonrefundable pet fee per stay.
We may not be the vacation rental for you if your dog:
*Consider barking to be a favorite pastime.
*Chew things other than bones.
*Like to visit the neighbors unsupervised (we do not have a fenced-in yard), and/or;
*Use the house as a bathroom.

Please bring all needed dog items with you, we allow up to two 65 lbs dog. We ask that your dog be supervised when at the cabin and crated when you are not. Also, it should not need to be said (but unfortunately needs to be, as we have had guests leave enough surprises for us), but PLEASE pick up after your dogs!! It is NOT the responsibility of our cleaners.
This house is near to a local train track that does have frequent trains that pass. You will hear the train from the house, but it is still at a far enough distance that you won’t feel the train.
This house is professionally managed by 1919 Properties LLC. We look forward to welcoming you to the Soo Line Rail House – Stone Lake.
USE OF PREMISES. It is understood and agreed by the Parties, that the Tenant shall use the demised premises for the purpose of vacationing only. Landlord does not rent to vacationing students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25), unless they are supervised at all times by an adult or guardian or parent. By renting this property, the Tenant agrees there will be no vacationing students or singles under the age of twenty-five (25) in the premises, unless they are so supervised. Violation of such paragraph, would terminate the tenancy at the time of knowledge, forfeiting any and all security deposit and still require the Tenant to pay for the full term of the occupancy, without recourse.

FIREWORKS: It is hereby understood and agreed by all parties that no fireworks may be set off at any time, in the premises or on the grounds. Violation of this provision will be subject to a $500 fine per occurrence plus the Tenant will be responsible for any and all damages to the property and to the property of any neighbors. Again, there are absolutely NO fireworks allowed to be discharged on premises.

ITEMS PROVIDED. Landlord shall provide all bedding, full kitchen accessories, kitchen, hand and dishwasher soap.

ITEMS NOT PROVIDED. The Guest shall be responsible for providing the following, but not limited, items: beach towels, bathroom soap and hair shampoo, yard toys (like volleyball, frisbees, soccer ball, softball and bat, football to play catch with), and board games. It is also understood that there is not a landline telephone at the premises. **There is no standard kitchen stove / oven. We do provide a hot plate and a toaster oven that will work for most meals and cooking. **

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. It is hereby agreed and understood by all parties, that the maximum number of guests on-site is limited to the maximum occupancy listed in the description above. In the event, a Tenant is determined that more than the max occupancy of guests are on-site, other than visiting, this may be grounds for immediate eviction and all advance payments will be forfeited.

CAMPERS OR TENTS: No campers or tents are allowed on-premises.

CHECK OUT TIME: is 10:00 AM. If no prior arrangements have been made for a late checkout, you may be charged up to $150 per hour to cover the extra time housekeeping must wait.

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS. It is understood and agreed by the parties, that any reservation obtained under false pretenses will be grounds for immediate eviction and all advance payments will be forfeited.

INDEMNIFICATION. It is hereby understood and agreed that 1919 Properties, LLC, Property Owners and its employees, agents, or principals and assigns, shall not be liable for any and all damage or injury to or of the Tenant, Tenant's family, guests, invitees, agents or employees or other persons entering the premises and Tenant hereby agrees to indemnify, defend and hold 1919 Properties LLC and Property Owners harmless for any and all claims or assertions of any kind or nature as a result of injuries which may occur on the premises. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, any damage or injury which may be incurred by Tenant, Tenant's family, guests, invitees, agents or employees or to any other person for damages or injuries which may arise from any contact, act, inaction, interaction from any and all animals, domestic or wild, which such damage or injury occurs on the premises.

EMERGENCY ACCESS. It is understood and agreed that the Landlord shall have access to the premises at all times for emergency purposes. If it is a non-emergency, Landlord shall be required to provide Tenant with a twenty-four (24) hour notice, which may be verbal and/or written. Tenant agrees to not unreasonably withhold access to the premises.

Please note that before your stay begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest.
You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a stay.

PERFECT!!
We loved our stay at the Soo Line Rail House! It was perfect for our long weekend getaway! Ian at the Whistle Punk was very nice and it’s a great place to grab a beer or two in the evening and a coffee and treat on our way home. We will definitely stay again!

A nice little place
The Soo Line House was a nice place for my wife and I to stay as we enjoyed our vacation in northwest Wisconsin. The house itself has been updated, but with some elements of its original construction, such as its wood floors. We enjoyed the environment it provided in Stone Lake, with a few unique options nearby, plus more about 15 minutes away in Hayward. Overall, an enjoyable experience for my wife and I.
