While we never want things like icy roads, road closures, or smoke from wildfires to negatively impact our guests, it can happen. We ask travelers to plan their vacation appropriately for the rural mountain climate and encourage guests to research all travel insurance options, as Tahoe Moon Properties cannot provide refunds for things outside of our control.

Hot Tub - Mountain Views - Ski Lease Available

Mineral Springs Getaway is available for a ski lease starting either December 1 for 5 months or January 5 for 4 months for $4250/month plus utilities. We do require that all our ski leases are cleaned monthly by our cleaners.

This is the perfect property for a Tahoe getaway without compromising the comforts of home. This beautifully remodeled home is in an ideal location for quick and easy access to the lifts in the winter and a short drive to the lake in summer. This property was remodeled with some of the finest craftsmanship and high-end appliances, allowing for comfort and luxury in a serene mountain setting. This home has taken advantage of the unique structure with strategic window placement throughout the home, allowing for a bright and airy feel. Entrance to the property is on the lower level of this three-story home. You are greeted with a spacious mud room off of the garage and an additional storage area on the lower level, which provides plenty of space to store your outdoor toys and gear. The second level of this home consists of two bedrooms, a full-size bath with high-end finishes and a spacious laundry room with state of the art washer and dryer.
Important, this property does not have air conditioning. Air conditioners are extremely unusual in North Lake Tahoe.
Both bedrooms have plush beds and linens. While one bedroom is slightly larger than the other, the smaller bedroom allows for a scenic partial mountain view. The master bedroom is located on the third floor and also takes advantage of the mountain views. This bedroom similarly features luxurious linens and has a generous closet and built-in dresser. The master bath is a stunning combination of functionality and tasteful design. In the bathroom, you will find marble and high end finishes surrounding the double sink feature. Most impressive is the luxurious steam shower with bench seating and rain shower head with digital controls. The main living area in this home is also located on the third floor which allows for vaulted wooden ceilings adding to the spacious layout and ambiance of this authentic Tahoe home. The open concept living area is ideal for some quality family time or intimate dinner with friends. The kitchen is garnished with stunning marble countertops, double oven, and a five-burner stovetop. There is plenty of storage and kitchen elements for anything you would like to prepare. The living area also has a convenient and beautifully done half bath. One side of the living area hosts a quaint 6 person dining nook with surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, bringing a piece of the Tahoe landscape into the home. The living room which is adjacent to the kitchen and dining area is a beautiful coupling of Tahoe craftsmanship and modern technology, with a large flat-screen TV and surround sound. The living area also has a gas corner stove to add to the cozy feel of this room. The living space is all tastefully decorated down to the blown glass light fixtures. Off of the living area, you will find a comfortably sized deck with a BBQ and outdoor seating to enjoy a sense of extended living space in the warmer months. Conveniently located on a more private area of the deck, you will find the hot tub which is perfect for year-round use.

This property really is ideal for any time of year. The location is halfway up the Alpine Meadows access road, allowing for easy access to both Alpine Meadows and Squaw winter recreation areas. Even if you are not a downhill sports enthusiast, you can find plenty of fun and exciting activities in Squaw Valley during the winter months. In the summer months, you are just a short distance from Lake Tahoe. Alpine Meadows is the perfect place for a fun and relaxing time in the Tahoe Mountains with family and friends. There are hiking trails just up the way like the Five Lakes Trail, so those with the endurance can hike the beautiful mountainside and dip in some fresh mountain spring water! Take a dip in the Truckee River just out of the Alpine Meadows Valley off HWY 89. There are bike trails and walking trails that parallel this gorgeous flowing waterway as well!

Although 80% of our properties are pet-friendly - this is NOT a pet-friendly property. Please be respectful of this. We do not consider service animals pets. If you bring a dog, you will be subject to a fine and are in breach of contract which could result in being asked to leave the property.

IMPORTANT:
On March 11th 2022, the county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing. Some Highlights include:
•Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time.
•Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of a property and all pet waste needs to be picked up.
•Parking is limited to the following number of spaces: 3

POLICIES & DISCLOSURES
1. 2021 Update: Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires.
2.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
3.By local laws we have to charge a 12% occupancy tax (10% TOT tax + 2% TBID tax) with every booking. TBID, is placed on lodging, retail, restaurant and recreation businesses in North Lake Tahoe to raise money for visitor services, business support and advocacy, economic development, tourism mitigation and transportation services.

Perfect Tahoe wedding weekend!
My family and I spent 5 nights at the end of August at this great property! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for my two adult kids with their significant others. The house had everything we needed and then some. It's nice that some useful food items were left, ie: condiments, tea varieties, oils, baking necessities, etc. Patio was comfortable with enough seats for everyone and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Tahoe Moon was very receptive when we called for help with the spa controls. Can't wait to return, Loved every minute!

Great Getaway
My friends and I have stayed in Alpine Meadows before and have loved the mountain feel, even without the lake views. This home was truly a home and EXTREMELY well stocked.. but for a few things. There were only about 3 trash bags to last the entire 4 days, and we ended up having to buy more even when using dishes and the dishwasher for all meals. The home has just about everything, and it was convenient to have plastic bags and such for our day trips to the lake and Truckee River. The beds are very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet. The 3rd floor open layout was perfect for my group’s needs and the hot tub with hammock was a real treat!
