Escape to the mountains and enjoy fresh air, mountain views and starry nights at A-Frame of Mind located in Tannersville. We are a 5-minute drive in either direction to the Village of Tannersville and Hunter Mountain, a 10-minute drive to Kaaterskill Falls, and a 20-minute drive to Windham Mountain.

Whether your plans consist of skiing (or just some apres-skiing), shopping some of the best antique stores in Upstate NY, hiking or fishing, we are close to it all!

THE SPACE
This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom extended A-Frame chalet sits on 2+ acres and sleeps 6 comfortably, 8 maximum. Cozy up after a long day of outdoor activities by our gas burning fireplace and enjoy your favorite shows or movies on our 50-in Samsung Frame TV or listen to your favorite music by connecting your device to our Sonos speaker. Retreat for the night to one of our well-appointed bedrooms complete with memory foam mattresses, plush pillows and hotel-grade linens. The primary bedroom downstairs has a queen size mattress while the two upstairs bedrooms have double beds. A futon in the living room as well as extra pillows and blankets are also provided to sleep two more guests, if needed. The two full bathrooms come with towels, bath mats, paper goods and complimentary toiletries.


Wake up in the morning and enjoy complimentary fresh-brewed, locally-roasted Peaks Coffee or a variety of teas. Whether you’re just reheating or cooking up a storm, our kitchen is fully-stocked with all the appliances and items you could need.

The fun doesn’t end there! Step outside on our wrap-around porch, or take a seat and enjoy the mountain views greeting you at the end of the driveway. Guests have access to a charcoal grill located on the deck as well as a wood-burning fire pit with complementary wood.

GUEST ACCESS
The entire home and grounds are available for your enjoyment! Guests also have access to the red shed located on the property where they can store skis or larger gear.

Our favorite part? Follow the stone wall behind the property and come out on the back lawn of one of our favorite restaurants - Nat’s Mountain House!

OTHER ITEMS TO NOTE:
There is no washer or dryer in the unit (yet!), but guests are encouraged to hang up all wet items in the mud room.

High-speed Wifi (1 gbps) internet is provided. While we have very reliable internet considering our mountaintop location, the strength of cell service is not guaranteed. We recommend enabling Wifi calling to use as a backup.

In the winter, the driveway is plowed after every snow storm over 3 inches and a walkway is shoveled and salted leading up to the front door. Should you require more, there are shovels and salt for guest use.

During the winter months, we also recommend a car with 4WD as there is an incline from the base of the gravel driveway up to the house. Not absolutely necessary, but definitely easier!

There are two smart TVs for your viewing pleasure. Guests can log in to their own streaming services or enjoy the free ones offered on the individual TV.

We are pet-friendly and charge a $150 pet fee the additional cleaning. Please send us a message if you are interested in bringing your dog along.
