For the most part, fantastic!
Great location! For the most part, great rental unit - if you are looking for that spacious, mostly updated cottage feel - with a beautiful view, and short walk to the beach and Bridge Street. Only things that prevented this from being a five star rating for us had to do with a couple of cleaning issues and road construction. In general, the cottage is in great shape and clean. However, on the third night of our stay, my daughter dropped something between the bed and wall, and when she reached down to retrieve the item, found a child's t-shirt, sock and toy. Really made us question whether bedding had been changed, as there is no way someone would not have seen these items when pulling the bedding. Also, many of the dishes had to be rewashed as there were dried on remnants of food. Neither issues deal breakers, just something to be aware of. The only other somewhat disappointment was that we had not been told ahead of time that the road for this unit was actually going to be closed while we were there. We knew possible construction work might be occurring - but no where was it mentioned that we would not be able to keep our car on the property. There was shuttle transportation provided, but when we had received our check in info, we were specifically told to park in the driveway, which we could not do. A little more communication would have been nice, as it was a bit of an inconvenience. Aside from those issues, we did enjoy our stay and would consider renting again!
