Beautiful Home, Great Location, Fantastic Host
The house is spacious, clean, quiet, and perfect for a family. Loved all the art Alan had in the house and the GIANT TV upstairs. The kitchen was the perfect focal point of the house and the pool was well maintained. We BBQ and cooked every day. Plus the house was a quick 8 min walk to the Colorado River that flows through downtown Austin. Alan was a fantastic host, that was there to help, at what felt like any moment that we needed. He even had a spare battery for our car fob and jumper cables. He is the by far the best host that we have encountered on VRBO.

The hosts were beyond accommodating, and the home was equipped with everything needed to host a large gathering. The kitchen was ideal and had all the necessities for cooking for large groups. The beds were clean, there were plenty of towels, and the bathrooms were gorgeous each with rain water shower head. Views from all windows of the house. Tucked away pool in the backyard made the stay feel like a true getaway. This is the property for you whether you’re visiting town or want to just staycay with friends!

Close to downtown, Riverside Park, Convention Center, and Palmer Events Center. Very convenient, in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space to unwind after a long day, cook dinner if desired, or take a swim in the pool (it is cold in the winter). Very comfortable rooms and setting.

DO NOT STAY HERE!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We rented space because it had great reviews but does not equate to price paid. Here were multiple issues throughout stay. 1. SAFETY- owner had multiple personal medications in the bathroom including muscle relaxants. personal lubricant, blood pressure medications. We had 3 kids under the age of 4 with us and this was huge concern. 2. Pool was not cleaned and NOT able to be used. We wanted to use it since weather was in 70s that weekend. Since it wasn’t able to be used owner said he would cover it but never did. We specifically choose this property due to pool listing. 3. Owner was frazzled and completely surprised that we were renting place that day and was not ready at check in time. He was not prepared and did NOT HAVE SPACE appropriately cleaned. 4. Second floor balcony was full of junk and personal items-- unusable. 5. We were served with VIOLATION from Austin city that the space was not approved for rental. I WOULD NOT RENT HERE AGAIN. We tried to approach owner regarding all of these issues but he was unwilling to refund us even part of our stay nor did he apologize for our safety concerns or the condition of property. BE AWARE: owner lives on property right above house.

2019 USGP Weekend
This was my 4th time coming to Austin for the US Grand Prix, and 4th time staying in a vacation rental near downtown. This house was far and away the best vacation rental yet! Alan was helpful and attentive with check in, offering dining and nightlife tips, and was very friendly. The house was immaculate and well stocked with the essentials. The audio and entertainment setup added to the enjoyment of spending time with friends and having a few beers after a long day at the track. The location was perfect - a short walk to some great restaurants or a quick Uber ride to the heart of downtown. Thank you for making your beautiful home available for travelers, my group is already talking about returning for next year!

Loved this property not far from the heart of Downtown Austin. Alan is the consummate host and responsive to requests. Our daughter celebrated her engagement with several friends, and this place provided the perfect setting for reuniting with college friends. The best place to book in Austin!
You can tell Alan was incredibly thoughtful in every decision to make this home as welcoming and accommodating as possible. The house is beautiful and the pool was such a lovely space where we could all lounge around. Every single bed is incredibly comfortable, I woke up the first night thinking I was at my home sleeping on my own tempur-pedic. Alan is super responsive and helpful with anything we needed for the weekend! Also super flexible with checkin and checkout. He really made for a wonderful weekend for all the amazing women in my life to come together, some of which I haven’t seen in over a year. Thank you Alan! I usually like to provide any feedback for improvements, but you have certainly outdone yourself sir. I’m actually going to go home and request my fiancé makes some updates to our house now to match some of the fixtures/amenities I saw here! 5 big fat stars for this place!

Perfect Austin Oasis
We had 5 couples stay at the home and everyone loved it! Great location near downtown, The University, Barton Springs and tons of great restaurants and fun shopping in the South Congress and South Lamar areas. People walked down the street to the lake/river to exercise and we had a fantastic brunch at El Alma right there as well. We enjoyed the pool and the living space was perfect for visiting and entertaining. The owner took care of everything we needed and communicated with us every step of the way. It was the best VRBO experience we have ever had. So much better than staying at a hotel!! Thanks for a wonderful long weekend in Austin!

Amazing Location and beautiful property
My family and I just stayed here for my father's birthday. The location is perfect to get anywhere around downtown Austin within minutes. The property was gorgeous and had plenty of space for 8 to 10 people. It was very clean and modern. The backyard was great to beat the midsummer heat. Alan was a great host. Ladies Weekend in Austin!
This weekend was perfect! The house is beautiful, clean, modern, spacious and fun! The pool is perfect and private, the kitchen is large and accommodating and the 3 bathrooms were perfect for 10 women to share comfortably! Allen was a great host, he gave us our space but we knew he would be nearby if we needed him! Thank you for providing a wonderful home for a weekend I will never forget!

Family Weekend Getaway
The property looked as beautiful in person as it did from the pictures on the internet. This was a first time vacation with all of our kids and the grandkids and since I planned this I was a little nervous about it however it turned out great. Everyone loved the home, the pool, the area and most of all we had a great time! We decided that we would plan on doing a family vacation together every year. This house is great, the kitchen is fully stocked, plenty of space for everyone to spread out, modern bathrooms, and a great pool. The location is perfect, 15 minutes from anywhere you want to go. The owner was great, very communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

You can't get any closer to the middle of it all. Any and all convention or music. Next to down town. Next to ACL fest. Next to Auditorium Shores. Next to Town Lake(Lady Bird Lake). Next to the Long Center, the Palmer Center, Zilker park, Congress Ave. That is all less than a mile away. Sixth ST, the Capitol, the Convention Center, the Warehouse district, Whole Foods (HQ and store) The list goes on and on, and all just one mile away.

The property backs up to the Green belt with hiking trails and a dry (sometimes wet) creek, . Less than a mile and walk-able to an abundance of restaurants all with outdoor patios and some with live music. The famous Saxon Pub is just a mile away with great live music every single night ( Always a good place to spot celebrities ). The world famous Continental Club also a mile away. But wait! There's more. The mother ship of over priced veggies, Whole Foods is only one mile away.
