Rock Cottage is set in a peaceful location at Treglyn Farm near to the village of St Minver and close to the beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay, Polzeath and Port Isaac.
The North coast of Cornwall is a great place to visit at any time of year. The road between Newquay and Tintagel weaves its way through one of the finest and most spectacular coastlines in the country. Rock Cottage is in the perfect place to explore this part of Cornwall, with its considerable history and attractions.
The property is a stone built barn conversion with local slate roof. The beautifully furnished property is arranged over 2 floors. Ground floor patio doors to the back and front give views of the surrounding countryside and lead to large gardens and a patio with seating. The downstairs open plan living space consists of a farmhouse style dining table, comfortable sofas and chair, log burning stove, TV and DVD with Sky and WiFi. The new kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, family sized fridge freezer and microwave. There is a downstairs loo and space to hang your coats in the entrance hall. You will find many fine paintings enhancing the walls throughout.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, one double, one twin/double and one bunk bedroom suitable for children. There is a newly fitted family bathroom with bath, over shower and loo.

* Visit Rock for your day to day supplies. There is a bakery, a butchers, a dairy which sells specialist cheeses and other fine foods, and a fish and chip shop. A newsagents, a petrol station, a Spar shop, a post office, cafes and restaurants are all on offer just 5 minutes away by car.
*The village of St.Minver has a Saxon Church, a post office and an 18th century pub called The Fourways Inn which offers evening meals. Other establishments worth visiting in the area are the Pityme Inn, St Kew Inn at St Kew and the Maltsters in nearby Chapel Amble.
The town of Wadebridge is 10 minutes drive away. It has all the convenient facilities such as banks, chemists supermarkets, leisure centre, cinema and small independent shops.

*Drive the Atlantic Highway to Newquay and discover the famous surf beaches. Stop at Watergate Bay to enjoy a meal at Jamie Oliver’s well known ‘15’ Restaurant.
*Go North to Tintagel famous for its Arthurian Legends, and climb the spectacular headland to visit the castle.
*The Camel Trail which was given UNESCO Area of Outstanding Beauty status can be accessed nearby. There are several cycle hire shops in Wadebridge if required.
*There are two golf clubs close to St.Minver. The St. Enodoc Golf Club and Rosecarrow Golf and Country Club.
*A pedestrian ferry operates across the Camel Estuary and links Rock to Padstow where you will find a charming fishing port with many pubs and restaurants. Rick Stein the famous TV chef has his roots in the town where he operates both The Seafood Restaurant and Rick Stein’s Café.
* Visit the Eden Project near St Austell for a great day out for the whole family: explore the largest indoor rainforest in the world and enjoy special events.
* Explore the history of modern art at St Ives in its newly extended Tate Gallery.
*This area has been an inspiration to writers, film makers and artists. A current enthusiasm for the TV series 'Poldark' based on Winston Graham's books and Rosamund Pilcher's 'The Shell Seekers' brings in many new visitors.
