Infested with rats: health hazard!
This health and safety hazard rental needs to be closed!! Downstairs unit is infested with rats that we saw running into back kitchen cupboard and chewed bathroom door that we closed to keep them out of “bedroom” (should not be listed as a bedroom since has no windows or ventilation). The maintenance man set a trap 3rd day after we reported rats. We watched him take out rat in sticky trap and then saw many more rats each night. Eventually our daughter and her husband moved upstairs to sleep on an air mattress on the lanai. There are rat droppings behind the sofa sleeper that is unusable. Clearly this has been an ongoing problem that has been ignored. Interesting that there are no reviews showing on the listing since 2021?? I’m certain there are reviews. Why are they not up to protect families from renting this place?
The upstairs bedrooms (that are in separate buildings and openout to the pool so a drowning hazard for young kids) do not have locking doors since they won’t close all the way.
The second bedroom has no electricity (chords taped going into the room from outside for the fans so the door won’t close all the way nor lock.)
That bathroom has no hot water.
The oven never worked (we were told when reported that it didn’t for the last renters. Why weren’t notified of this?).
We began washing towels the night before check out but the dryer knob Just spins so won’t engage to start
The last day the rain leaked into the downstairs unit flooding the inside entry.
