From the very moment, you arrive at Hamilton Island and your complimentary valet brings you to your accommodation, you will appreciate the attention to detail ensuring your absolute relaxation at this stunning property.

Manicured gardens greet you at the Shorelines complex, instantly setting the scene as you ease into holiday mode. All guests enjoy the choice of two swimming pools including the sensational, wet edge swimming pool and entertaining area as well as of course the beautiful Shorelines pool. Pool towels are supplied for your use.

Parked by the entrance to Shorelines 31, your electric golf buggy is charged and ready for you to explore the island.

On entering this split-level residence, you will appreciate the ample living space made possible by high vaulted ceilings. Featuring quality finishes and incredible views beyond the first of two private, ocean-facing balconies, the wooden floors, and contemporary furnishings of this property give a luxurious beachy feel that is perfect for the tropics.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen and dining areas are situated on the entry-level so that the beautiful scenery outside is not lost to the home chef and diners. Everything needed to self-cater is included. You will appreciate the double door refrigerator with a cool water dispenser, the dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee machine with a starter pack of pods, double sink, and all the kitchen equipment you could require. The dining area is spacious and seats six comfortably.

By the entrance, you will also find the powder room and laundry with a washing machine, dryer, drying rack, and laundry sink for your convenience.

The living room on the next level down invites you to relax on comfortable couches. For entertainment, there is a large flat-screen television, complete with a DVD player. From this room, you will relish the spectacular water and island views. Marvel at how gorgeous the water appears from this apartment. At dusk, when the sun has just set, the mountains look like they are part of your own private watercolor painting.

The balcony off the main living level is where you might decide to spend most of your time as it is furnished with entertaining in mind. Sun lounges, a 6-seater dining setting, and a BBQ for eating alfresco have all been provided. Cool breezes are welcomed from your position high on the hill and you will appreciate watching the many boats that come and go on the crystal blue waters below whilst enjoying a cool beverage. Be sure to bring your camera.

There are two comfortable bedrooms with ample wardrobe space and two well-equipped bathrooms situated downstairs, both with large king-size beds made up of high-quality linens and pillows. The stylish furnishings and art chosen especially for these rooms emanate a relaxing ambiance.

Your master bedroom includes a flat-screen television, a built-in wardrobe, and full block-out drapes for those that prefer it for a restful sleep. However, you may wish to leave them open to the private balcony and fully experience the amazing vista over the islands beneath, both during the day and night. There is a table and chairs outside for enjoying a cup of coffee or for reading that book you have been meaning to. A generous open plan ensuite with a large spa bath, separate shower, and toilet complete the space.

The second bedroom has the option to convert the king-size bed into two single beds if you require it when you book. It is similarly furnished and has a tropical, outdoor courtyard to extend the room. Sleeping configurations for up to 5 adults or 5 adults and 1 child will be arranged to your needs when you book, and we can also supply a double sofa bed in the lounge room, port-a-cot, and highchair for younger guests.

The bathroom adjoining the second bedroom has a shower, sink with storage, and a toilet.

Split system air-conditioning and ceiling fans throughout control the climate for those days when you might prefer it.

When it is time to return home, our valet service will collect you and your guests from your apartment and assist you with your departure, although you may find it difficult to say goodbye to this amazing, memorable hideaway at Hamilton Island.

Great property however let down on a couple of issues
The property itself is amazing as is the view, location, pool, and buggy. Concierge pickup was helpful, although we needed to wait an extra 30 minutes more than necessary due to picking up and dropping off another group. When we arrived the room wasn't ready and we were told we would get a text but the text never came. Kitchen is well equipped but the dishwasher wasn't great. Dinner plates didn't fit and all had to be handwashed. There were no cups or glasses that children could reach. The toaster and coffee machine are excellent quality. There was tea and a few coffee capsules but it appeared just what was left from the people before. The TV's are all modern smart TV's with all apps (need to sign in with our accounts). The most significant issue was that there was a scheduled water outage for maintenance on our first night from 2am to 6am. We were not communicated about this at all before the outage and as I wake early I had no water when I woke up. If we knew about it we could have prepared a few water bottles and filled the kettle etc. Worse than that, the outage stretched out until 10.30am so we had no water for about 5 hours. No water to drink, make tea, shower, brush teeth, or flush the toilet. There was a further outage later in the day. At the price paid for the accomodation, letting us know about the outage in advance should be a baseline expectation. But realistically supplying a few bottles of water would have been the courteous thing to do.
