Thanks for considering staying at The Grey Rabbit House. We hope you will stay with us and love it here! It is a rustic yet cozy and spacious home at the heart of the Eastern Townships: 20mn from Orford ski trails, 5mn from Massawippi Lake, 15mn from Magog, 20mn from USA, 1h30 from Montreal, perfectly set up to enjoy the quaint town of Ayer's Cliff and to explore the region. If you are working remotely and are dying for a change of scenery, we get it! You will find what you crave here. We are also bike friendly!

The Grey Rabbit House is one of our two charming homes in Ayer's Barn, originally built in 1903. It has kept all of its historical charm and has had many renovations and design improvements over the years (others to come!), with plenty of architectural cachet with high ceilings and pine wood floors. The roomy and cozy space, the rustic décor and our zen garden will offer you the perfect getaway!

The home is at the center of the Ayer’s Cliff Village and the main street is about 40 feet away. It is within walking distance to many amenities, grocery store, farmer’s market in the summer, butcher shop, SAQ, coffee and restaurants. You might sometimes hear big heavy trucks passing by during the day and feel a slight vibration to the home, it is usually quiet after dark.

There are attractions nearby all year round: Massawippi Lake, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, Mont Orford National Park, Magog, Tomifobia Nature Trail and so much more! Or if you are just looking for a relaxing day, spend some time at Ayer’s Cliff’s lake shore or at the Spa Nordic Station.

- If you are traveling with pets, please do not let them climb on the furniture, sofa or bed.

To protect our home, we ask for a security deposit - you may be charged up to $500 if you damage the home or break the house rules.
