We loved Ritzy Roost- It was clean, beautiful and the location is fabulous. The kitchen had everything we needed and the building had elevator access, and friendly quiet neighbors. The deck was awesome for sunrises with coffee. My ONLY complaint- is that though the management company responds to requests, they don't do anything. Seriously. Two huge bags of dirty bed linens and towels from the guests before us sat on the front step in front of our door THE ENTIRE WEEK WE WERE THERE. After 3 days I asked if they could please move these two huge trash bags of dirty laundry. I was told there was a high volume of requests and they'd get to it. They didn't. It was just nice lip-service. So we walked around it all week. Then the dishwasher suddenly wouldn't turn on in the middle of our visit. I notified the management immediately. They assured me someone would be up in several hours to fix it. Nothing. No follow-up either. I tried the next day, and the next. Nothing. We left with the dishwasher still as it was. All-in all-- I feel bad for the owners of such a beautiful property who are letting a bad management company tarnish their property for guests. If there was better service (or any at all), I'd wholeheartedly give 100 stars. PS-- bring your own TP, laundry soap and dish pods. They give you next to nothing.
